Taking a light aircraft flight over the plains 200 miles south of Lima is the best way to appreciate the Nasca Lines, the World Heritage-designated geoglyphs etched into the stony desert surface. The creators and meaning behind these startlingly precise abstracts and animal figures remain a mystery, but their 1939 discovery launched a steady swarm of tourists upon this tiny town – accessible via bus from Lima, Cusco and Arequipa.

This place is great! The food is absolutely delicious and well done. I got the ceviche micro and my husband got the fried rice mixto. Everything was very tasty, well prepared with fresh ingredients, and the salsas were outstanding. It's pretty pricey compared to the tÃpico restaurantes but well worth it.

Acogedor, amigable, deliciosos y abundantes platos, servicio rapido, precios razonables, con wi fi .
We stumbled across this and what a treat. Some of us tried local dishes whereas others went more western. We have all fallen in love with the soups here and whether itâs just vegetables or even quinoia. The pisco sours were generous and very tasty. The wifi was useful and the man who ran the place was so helpful and sweet. Toilets were very clean. Music and Christmasy atmosphere was appreciated. I would definitely return this place.Muchas gracias

Good Italian food in the middle of Peru. Everything was delicious, from wine to pizzas and pastas. There is a stone oven for the pizzas and an open kitchen in the large restaurant. The waiters are very professional. We are happy to come back.

Elegant restaurant with rustic decor with free access to guest kitchen
At the Mamashana restaurant, we ordered lots of food such as their specialty Lomo Saltado, Fried Rice, Chicha Marada, and a special fruit chocolate ice cream dessert. Our waiter, Fernando was very nice about explaining the wide variety of dishes and drinks to us. The food came quickly and was delicious. Although there was a sudden widespread blackout that occurred, Fernando was quick to react by taking out large lights so we that we could still dine while we waited for the power to return. Fernando was overall a nice waiter and the food was delicious.

We enjoyed a nice meal with drinks in this restaurant. We were looked after very well by Joseph who helped us choose a local Peruvian wine. The restaurant is nicely furnished and there is a wide choice of dishes including vegetarian options. This is a good option for lunch or dinner.

The smell of delicious rotisserie chicken embraces you when you walk in. The first thing you see are chickens roasting over coals. Then you will notice the large, generous plates emerging from the kitchen and being served at unbelievably reasonable prices. I ordered a salad with my chicken, and watched while it was being made. Huge portions of vegetables topped with an entire chopped avacado. The avacado had just been peeled and then tossed in a yummy oil and lemon dressing, before being placed on top of my salad. My meal was fresh, delicious, abundant, and inexpensive!

What a beautiful little restaurant! The food was tasty and beautifully presented. It arrived in a timely manner and the serving sizes were medium to large. Sussan, our waitress was attentive and very friendly, assisting us to order in our struggling Spanish. I highly recommend this place.

In Peru it doesnât have to be expensive to eat like the royal family. A fusion of traditional home food and a gourmet cuisine, the chef coming to your table to explain the dishes, octopus melting in your mouth, yucca prepared with excellence, delicious meat, every detail delivered with the decision to please the customer. 8 persons, 18 plates, 100% success. We all left amazed and will definitely return. Absolutely fantastic experience and the accessible prices are not reflecting the quality of this restaurant. Strongly recommendable despite of what kind of budget you might be traveling with.
