The food coming from the kitchen here are just done RIGHT; crisp fries, juicy burgers, boldly flavored sandwiches, and perfectly grilled anticuchos(I ate here multiple times). The food isn't fancy but that doesn't mean they cut corners like some other places. Which, after traveling for a while I notice and really appreciate. In short I feel that they care about food they are putting out.

We ordered take-away from La Brasa Roja on 2 occasions during our recent trip to Huaraz. As we were travelling in a big group, it was the perfect option due to the wide range of menu items. We tasted dishes from chicken and chips to pastas to soups, and everything was pretty good. Although they don't do delivery until after 7.15pm, we were able to arrange to pick-up our order for 13 people, and were impressed by how organised they were with having it all ready on time and checking everything off the list with care. We didn't eat in, but the restaurant looked really clean.

Ordered the vegetable lasagna. The bowl that came looked like french onion soup. There was some eggplant and zucchini swimming in a very salty broth and covered with cheese. No tomatoes or other vegetables, no pasta. We would have complained but were unsure if that would have reflected poorly on the waiter. If I'd been served that in the States, I would have questioned it before I even tasted it. The bread was excellent. Saw a pizza delivered to another table, and it looked very good.

I came for lunch and because of a little incident with my dish the host attended me personally and brought me a new one specially served for me. They work really hard to make customers not only satisfied but completely happy of been here. El Fogón is lucky to have an employee like Ms. Berenice Lázaro.

There are plenty of choices, but we got excellent recommendations; we said we liked the sourness of a pisco sour and were served with cocktails based on local fruits that suited us very well.We had a long and interesting conversation with the bartender; he was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's not super cheap, but the cocktails are big and you can really enjoy your drink.Recommended!Nuestra ciudad de HUARAZ es maravillosa por varios motivos, y una de ellas son sus FRUTAS.Ha sido un placer atenderlos amigos. We went here for lunch, which was a good deal at 12-15 soles per person. My husband ordered the chicken soup and beef ribs and I had the vegetarian plate. The vegetarian plate was fantastic. His soup and scary chicken and the ribs were just okay. It is definitely a good deal for the amount of food you get.

Welcome to Trivio, Resto-bar Sierra Andina! The name âTRIVIOâ comes from the Latin word âTriviumâ which means âthe confluence of three trailsâ. It was at these confluences or âTriviumsâ, that people would stop on the way to work and chat with their friends
My husband and I love Trivio. We have lived in Ancash for almost a year and always end up at Trivio for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. Highly recommend their breakfast. It is American style and coffee comes with each breakfast and is super affordable. I love pancakes and the omelette as well. During high tourist season, their menu is one of the bests. Lots of variety and always has a vegetarian option. For dinner I recommend the chicken sandwich and their pastas are yummy as well! But by far their beer keeps us coming back along with the friendly staff. Tony is our favorite! The Shaman IPA is by far our favorite beer along with the Amber Ale. You will not be disappointed by coming to Trivio!!

We make traditional Peruvian cuisine with modern techniques, the menu varies every week or depending on the seasons of the food.
What a little gem! We were told of Jama by some friends and went in with high expectations which were well and truly exceeded. The owner/chef is incredibly passionate about what he does and the food is sensational. His ambition to have the best restaurant in the world is undoubtedly evident in the food that he presents!

I ate here solo by candle light and enjoyed every bit of the scrumptious experience. I ate a savoury ham and cheese crepe with a pisco sour. Creperie Patrick has an extensive list of crepes - both sweet and savoury!

We had two meals and lots of drink visits here whilst staying in Huaraz. The food was delicious (including lots of great vegetarian options), fresh and healthy. The space itself is very warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed spending time here planning activities or resting after them! Friendly, relaxed staff added to the great atmosphere.
