This is my second visit to Marcopolo Pattika. Its an average local Kashmiri restaurant built over the river offering great views. On the first visit, we ate their local Kashmiri special food which was nice. This time I went with a group of families and ordered the same Kashmiri special food. It took almost 2 hours to serve food. And after a wait of 2 hours what we got was awful. Saag was hopeless, the curry was nothing like a curry. The Makki rotis were so thick and undercooked. We ordered biryani for kids which was edible. Overall experience was very bad. There were house flies all over the place. It was hot that day and only limited number of fans. The place is dirty with stains on tablecloth and floors were not cleaned. Upon complaint of food they said it happens on eid days due to rush.I give one star for the view only. The immense embarrassment I suffered by recommending this place is beyond words. It's really sad how the place has lost it. Plz go and check the kitchen and ask them to taste first whatever you want to order and then order it.
