There was an outlet store for few clothes and some souvenirs. Then there was a closed area and a kind of ugly lounge or cafe area which was quite chilly because the door was open all the time. Do not drink coffee here. It's really expensive and bad! Go to a real café. All the cakes and pies were covered with plastic which I find a little weird.

Finally, I found a place in Honningsvåg that has vegetarian food. It took a while to locate any restaurant that didnt have just dead animals on their menu. The Pizza was good, well worth a stop.

There is a large fire place in the middle of the room that gives it a warm, cosy atmosphere. We serve a tasty dinner buffet every evening and as the restaurant is spacious, it's great for both small and large groups. If you would like to enjoy drinks, an

After the exhilarating ATV ride to North Cape, we walk across to this best coffee and restaurant in Honningsvåg, The Corner Spiseri. The menu has quite a big range that should satisfy all eaters. The 40cm pizza was huge and throughly stuffed with goodies and after the ride we snapped up very single slice and bits. The pasta was also excellent and decent cup of chocolate and coffee. This place on the 1st floor overlooks the harbour but as it’s dark all day we can only enjoy the sumptuous food and friendly locals we chatted as they were surprised to see us wrapped in layers whilst they are very bare (T-shirt’s only)So far all Norwegian we met are very friendly in all the places we went.Makes our all dark days bright.

One of the most notable monuments at the North Cape is “Children of the Earth”. It consists of one plaque of a compilation of seven drawings and seven round plaques made from drawings of the seven children from Tanzania, Japan, Brazil, Thailand, Italy, the USSR and the USA. Built in 1989, it is supposed to symbolize cooperation and friendship. Nearby is a “Mother and Child” sculpture showing them pointing toward the seven disks and the horizon. Another monument nearby commemorates King Oscar II visit in 1873.
