It seems that Da U Titti has no Michelin star simply because Michelin experts donât go too far from main roads. The cuisine is fantastic. The incredible mixture of tastes. Gazpacho with octopuses. Perfect foie gras. Surprising desserts. Great wine list. Breathtaking moonrise view from the terrace. Reasonable prices for such a place. Last, but not least, the great service. #1 in my personal rating for 2016.

We spent the afternoon there after eating on site. Food is great (although not exceptional, but yet good). Very friendly staff, a good place to spend a sunny summer day at the beach !!

We tried to book for another restaurant, but that was closed. So this restaurant was our 2nd choice. However, we think we were lucky. The restaurant has a small terrace (covered and windfree when necessary) on the other side of the road. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff helpful. We ordered the mixed seafood as a starter. Very good. I asked for tuna (which was off menu) and they had it. It was great the tuna tasted very good. A liter of houswine complemented our meal. Thank you very much

We found this place by chance as we cycled along the track from Sanremo and it's just a slight diversion off at Bussana before Riva Ligure. It was October so you couldn't eat outside and that must be an added bonus in the summer. We were welcomed by the two young ladies and decided to have the full menu at lunch time ( as we could cycle some of the calories off afterwards!). There's no written menu as they just prepare what is fresh that day and no choice but for fish lovers like us that wasn't a problem and we cleaned our plates! We had Ligurian squid with potatoes and peas, brandajcun- another local dish of fish mixed with potatoes, mussels, a filet of fish with olives and tomatoes. The first course was unusual and delicious of gnocchi with a fish and herb sauce with clams, the second was grilled prawns, followed by a choice of dessert, all accompanied by the house wine ( the white is fizzy like proseeco and accompanies the fish well), a choice of dessert, coffee and liquers. The service was efficient and friendly and the atmoshpere homely. Thoroughly enjoyable and the quality of everything was way above many restaurants in the area. Bravi. If you're in the area and enjoy cycling I recommend trying this path (you can hire bikes at the start and end of route and several places in the middle) and stopping for lunch at this place.

This excellent italian seafood restaurant has a very charming atmosphere and is located directly at the beachfront. The restaurant is built in a beach hut style with lots of bamboo, wooden floor and a thatched roof which creates almost caribbean feeling. We enjoyed lunch with absolutely perfect spaghetti frutti di mare, lovely white vine and a panna cotta dessert which was the best I have ever tasted. The staff was quick and friendly and we will certainly come back to this nice place at next possibility.

I have had lunch here 3 times in the last couple of months. Each time, I have received a friendly service and a small glass of prosecco as an aperitif. Great olive oil and bread. Lovely dishes - fresh, homemade and delicious. The menu is only in Italian, and for lunch I only saw local people coming here. Great! I haven't tried the pizza yet- as it's only served for dinner. You can easily reach the restaurant if you take the bike path - a small detour to Bussana beach will get you there. Only negative: the restaurant is situated on a small street with a little bit of traffic - and has only very little outside space. If you like orange - it's a plus :-)

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch here after a recommendation by our friend whose apartment we often rent in a nearby town in Liguria. We started with the fish antipasto which could have been a meal in itself. It had delicious carpaccios -- thin slices of seafood almost like sushi -- which made for a beautiful as well as tasty presentation. For our second course we shared a huge plate of spaghetti with clams, one of our favorites and available on almost all menus near the sea. The clams are of tiny varieties that we do not have in the United States. The house white wine was very good and not expensive. The owners and wait staff were friendly to strangers even though they seemed to have many regulars. We will be back this September.

The food is great. The food that actually arrives at your table. We were there on Easter day, and some of our plates were forgotten, so we didn't eat everything that we ordered. The service was quite slow, maybe because of the special day. Other that, the people are great. The view is good, but it is not of Sanremo. You just see all the greenhouses below. The place and building are beautiful.

We normally only visit Taggia in the winter months, so we weren't aware that this restaurant had outside seating in the summer which made for a very pleasant atmosphere in the old town.Service was very good from friendly waiting staff, with our waiter speaking quite good English. We had a mixture of dishes including pasta, pizzas and fritto misto and they were all excellent, as was the creme brulee which the waiter said he would use the blowtorch himself to ensure it was crunchy on top and indeed it was.No idea of the overall cost as our friends paid, but the prices on the menu looked reasonable for the quality of the food and the setting. The menu (apart from pizzas) was quite small which I always think is a good thing, but there were some delicious dishes of the day on offer. Altogether an excellent evening and we'll be going back.

The decor is fabulous. Service exemplary. The food is delicious. I would highly highly recommend for a special occasion. And they have this delightful amuse bouche of a little tube of delicious oil with tapenade and sun dried tomatoes
