Reviews on Neapolitan food in Gandria, Lugano, Swiss Alps. Gandria is both a quarter of the city of Lugano in the Swiss canton of Ticino, and a village, on the northern shore of Lake Lugano, which forms the core of that quarter. Until 2004, the quarter of Gandria was an independent municipality, joining with Lugano in that year.

They speak only in Italian and they donât want to speak in another language (English). We got pizza after 30 minutes, but some another Italian guests who came after us, got their pizza earlier than we do. And finally pizza was really good, but in general I can recommend this restaurant just for locals, we felt bad in this restaurant.why do we have to speak other languages in our house? Here is a restaurant not a convention center. You have too much presumptionWhat law requires us to speak other languages?mahThis is the result of globalization but, we are sorry, we are old-fashioned, we are traditional artisans. This is also our food. You're off topic and out of time, we do not make it upset. If we want to hear your complaints then we must also change the kitchen; we have to introduce frozen foods, ready meals, canned and dehydrated foods.Because if you accuse us of being traditionalists it means that you can not understand that this is also the food we prepare and put in your stomach. As we say in these cases, go to McDonald's there you will feel at home, certainly not in Naples

This restaurant is a good solution for both business or personal dining in Lugano. Particularly good option if you invite international guests who love Italian food and atmosphere (be prepared to be sorrounded by little loud Napoletanean music, always on). In summer is nice to seat outside (close to the river).Little pricey, even considering the pretty expensive Lugano standards.Ask the waiters for advice on dish choices. They are helpful.
