Discover Restaurants offering the best Moroccan food in Province of Granada, Andalucia, Spain. There’s an Arabic inscription that captures the essence of Granada in a few words: “There is nothing so sad as to be blind in Granada.” The perspicacity of this declaration becomes obvious as soon as you penetrate the austere walls of the Alhambra and take in the full majesty of the architecture, carvings and fountains of the Nasrid palaces. Your ticket (which should be bought well in advance following the instructions on the attraction’s website) also affords entry to the Renaissance Palace of Carlos V and to the exquisite gardens of the Generalife. If you are celebrating a special event, or are in the market for a splurge, you can stay in the lovely Parador, right on site. Make your way down into the city via the atmospheric old quarter of the Albaicin, with its tiny craft shops and restaurants, and head for the Cathedral and Royal Chapel. Also plan a visit to the crypt for the tombs of Ferdinand and Isabella, the instigators of Spain’s imperial adventures to the New World and beyond. It’s worth making the short journey out of town to visit the Monasterio Cartuja, a fabulous Carthusian monastery in the baroque style. Admirers of the poet Lorca should make the effort to visit the Casa-Museo Federico Garcia Lorca in Fuente Vaqueros, about 11 miles from the city centre.

The restaurant Marroqui Arab y Teteria with name Almona offers you the best Moroccan teas and food such as hummus, tajines, couscous, pastry, Arab sweets, etc. our kitchen is very homemade, we elaborate it. we also have homemade drinks like lemonade. Kitc
Visited with family after searching for best Moroccan food in Granada. Overall food was ok but Hummus was a disaster and let us down. As we are Moroccan food freaks we always like to have Hummus and nice warm pitta bread for starters. Hummus was ordinary, overpriced and served with pizza like cuts of cold wraps sold in supermarkets. Not expected of a restaurant supposedly offering authentic Moroccan food. Will never visit again and won't reccomend anyone. Very high ranked restaurant but not for us.

Actually, it's a takeaway, where you can find some good food that, if you find a seat, you can eat directly on site. They have really tasteful food with some vegetarian and vegan options and their vegetarian lasagna is delicious. It's a good option if you wish to eat healthy but tasty.

This amazing restaurant is a little bit hidden on one of the narrow streets of the Albaicin neighborhood, but what a delicious and flavorful food they serve in a very welcoming and friendly ambiance. Starting with the homemade lemonade, their salads, humus and the variety of tagines are only fantastic. This restaurant serve the very authentic morrocan cuisine, in Granada, Spain, what a wonderful way to spend our lunchtime. We will come back!
