Restaurant oriental. Couscous. Tagines. Grillades. Renommer de sa fourchette d or. cuisine maison. Dans un décor unique oriental
Super place tucked away on the left hand side of the road as you walk down towards the marina and beach. Excellent couscous and tajines. I chose chicken tajine with vergetables - it was piping hot, freshly cooked, really fresh and tasy and perfectly spiced. My dining partner chose coucous "Le Sesame" and was treated to a delicious array of meats and sausages with a bowl of piping hot vergetables in a scrumptious sauce - and a big plate of couscous too. Absolutely clean, beautifully and authentically decorated (Moroccan style), friendly service and good value for money. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in Calais.

Service was friendly and efficient, however the food itself was extremely bland. Lamb tagline quite simply had no flavour whatsoever, chicken dish was the same. The vegetable pot was probably the most flavoursome, however this was spoilt due to the vegetables being way overcooked.Le Sesame around the corner is in my opinion far better for food, though the service isn't as friendly as here .

We initially popped in here for a lunchtime drink. A lovely friendly gentleman greeted us. Our drinks came served with a little cous cous salad snack. We decided to return for dinner. Great atmosphere. Same friendly welcome and service. The seafood brochettes are amazing. We felt the prices were very reasonable. Also received Grand Marnier each on the house at the end of our meal. This used to be common to get a freebie in restaurants....not so much now. I urge you to give this lovely place a try if in Calais.Note - very quiet Saturday lunchtime but buzzing in the evening.
