Had a very nice meal at Saray. Our 3rd. All excellent. Always open a bit later than others. Only 1/2 m from I -95 north exit. Immediately seated at nice table. Their dining Room has been redecorated as well. Immediately had menus and water poured. Then out came freshly baked and hot crisp bread with butter...yum! So good. We ordered small season salad , a baked eggplant dish with tomato and cheese on top, and a grilled chicken kebab over yogurt and crisp Bread cubes. Both come with a hot grilled chili pepper and rice and grilled tomato. The â!small âSalad is large and very nice to split with 2-3. The chicken shish over yogurt and the the baked eggplant were enough to feed 3. No alcohol is Served. No problem if you like to byob. Ref or white wine goes very well. Even preferred! They do serve coffee and tea and sodas etc. Also desserts like baklava, rice pudding, tiramisu , Turkish ( middle eastern ) desserts too. All home made. Service is excellent and friendly. They care! Prices especially for the portions are very reasonable too.

I have been dining at the Turkish Kabob House since it's inception and I was always pleased with the food, the presentation and the staff until tonightFour of us arrived for an early dinner at 6:30 pm. We requested a particular table and were refused. We were told it was reserved and were placed at a window table. There was no reservation card on the table we requested and during our ninety minute stay no one came in and took that table. In fact there were very few customers that evening. Our waitress brought our water ,took our orders and forgot our appetizer until just before our food arrived. Once our food arrived ,the waitress never returned to the table. We went the whole meal without water or any service. A waiter picked up our plates, asked us if we wanted desert or tea and retuned promptly with our dessert and tea. My wife's lamb was over done and we had only the paper napkins our silverware was wrapped in. This is the first time we have been treated poorly at this restaurant and we will not be returning any time soon. A real disappointment.

On the plus side: Cedar Falafel has very tasty food. Everything was delicious and well seasoned, and the prices are pretty good. On the minus side: I ordered two different lamb dishes, one a lamb kebab combo and the other a lamb schwarma. It was obvious immediately that they served us beef instead -- very nicely done beef, for sure, but it was not truth in advertising (beef is not even on the menu). Did they think we wouldn't notice? The hummus was delicious, although we would have appreciated some pita as part of our take-out package. We'll likely drive down Campbell and go to the Turkish Kebab House instead next time.
