We had seen some good reviews online, so we decided to check out this new restaurant in Vienna. It is carryout and catering only. We tried the gormeh sabzi, adas polo, and ash reshteth. The food was good, but nothing special. You can get better at Alborz, Rose Kebab, and probably Shamshiry (although we haven't been there in years), which makes me wonder how long this place will last. The prices were good, about 12-13 per entree.

This is a terrific small Persian restaurant and grocer. Both the food and price are reliably good, however, sometimes, the service can be quite slow. Don't go if you are in a rush. Take-out is also recommended.

Its a shame when an establishment loses control over its own dining room - and there is no good excuse! Plenty of servers standing around! If their intent is to encourage take out - then they need to review their order taking and service processing. Food is always 50/50 - some dishes will arrive at the table hot while some others are cold. Don't bother sending it back - no one comes back to ask your satisfaction!

We went with a large group, over thirty people, and the service was excellent. The food was exotic and delicious. For a really authentic experience you can sit on thick cushions on the floor. We opted for the more comfortable experience of seating on chairs. the staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs without being intrusive. It was a very pleasant experience.

The interior is adorned with beautiful pictures from Iran, which does give it a special atmosphere in an otherwise very plain venue. The choice of food is impressive, and I settled for a dish with lamb, rice and salad. The lamb was cautiously spiced, perhaps as a concession to western palates. The salad was conventional but very fresh, and the portion very generous.Service was friendly and swift--we were almost alone at lunch time.A place worth trying again, to perhaps find a favorite.

The five of us reserved a front table for dinner ahead of a concert nearby. The menu is authentic Turkish (mostly) and includes a number of winners: the lentil soup was delicious & spicy; the calamari was actually tender. My wife liked her Imam Bayildi (an eggplant entree) and our friends liked their lamb shank. I thought my Pude Kucluk (a turkish pizza with sausage and peppers) was just so-so. But the place was QUIET (excuse me, quiet) and decor, while nothing fancy, was easy on the eyes.
