This former unofficial capital of France sits just 10 miles from Paris and is easily reachable by train. Even though the Chateau de Versailles has been known as the epitome of indulgent luxury for centuries, seeing it in person is a jaw-dropping experience. The chateau's magnificent gardens are free, but it's worth shelling out for a day ticket to see the interior—although it does make going back to even a fancy hotel seem rather humdrum.

Great feel to the place whether inside or out. Super staff, and a really good home made rustic tasty menu. Very inexpensive for authentic well made, fresh dishes. Carafe wine good, both meat and vegetarian dishes were so tasty, fresh and pleasing. Looking at reviews and ratings elsewhere here, this restaurant should be much higher up. If you want a delicately spiced, authentic North African/Mediterranean flavour, this will hit the spot.

The food was yummy, portions were large, wait staff was friendly and the place was unbeatable. When we wanted to try something non-French while staying in Versailles, this seemed like a great option. And like the reviews said, it delivered. In the mood for some Moroccan, try this out.

Really enjoyed our visit here for Sunday lunch and will return. Very warm welcome from the staff and the food was delicious. Only reason for not scoring a 5 - we waited a long time for our wine and never received the water we ordered.

we went to try the new morocco Restaurant near Versailles, recommended by friends. Not very good of an experience for us, we waited to long for the main curses, and sadly they were fridge cold. The Personal were friendly, but it was too expensive for what we got.
