Discover Restaurants offering the best Middle Eastern food in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Saint Paul has been called the last city of the East primarily because early developers built it to fit Eastern standards: city squares or parks, towers and turrets, lofty arches, Baroque domes and elaborate adornments abound. This is a friendly, casual restaurant with delicious *fresh* food. We've had outstanding meals both times we've been here. It's clearly family run with a lot of pride. Every dish we've eaten tasted *very* fresh. Lots of different flavors, home made (and fresh) bread, home made yogurt (so good). The chicken lemon soup (don't kow what it's called) is a big winner. But everything we've ordered was good.Highly, highly recommended.

Apparently Black See is Minnesotaâs first Turkish dining experience. I'm not sure what has taken me so long to go. I ordered the Doner/Gyro Salad($8) and a Turkish Lemonade($2). The gyro salad was simple and delicious with plenty of meat and since we dined in, they give you a bottle of tzatziki sauce, which i added to spicy up the vinaigrette sauce that comes with the meal. Also, if you dine in, they do offer table service or did for us, even though they are set up for counter service. The place is small and rustic, with about a dozen tables. You can feel the cool breeze from the outside at most when the door opens. I found parking easily on the street right in front and if you are a fan of Greek or Mediterranean food, suggest you give them a try!
