Marco Polo offers an all-day international dining experience perfect for business luncheons or relaxed Sunday brunches with friends and family. Offering a wide variety of both, Pakistani and Continental cuisines thereâs something to suit every taste and m
It came as a surprise that Marco Polo was not listed at Tripadvisor as a restaurant. Located at Pearl Continental, just ahead of the reception, the restaurant caters for different tastes and provides a fulfilling experience. I had breakfast as well dinner and both were good. The dinner has a good variety of salads and desserts, with some good Pakistani, Arabic and Italian dishes. The atmosphere is good and tranquilizing. Nice place to indulge into some fine food and gossip.

Location: Kala Khan Nehari House is located at Kartarpura, the heart of Rawalpindi city. The Kartarpura has significant importance as being cultural/traditional hub of the city. The shop is also at just about 8 Km distance from the capital city, Islamabad
There is no doubt this nehari is unrivaled across rawalpindi and islamabad. I would agree with other reviewers that the sitting arrangement and ambience is not the best for families, but the taste is worth it all.Be sure to have a designated driver as the Lassi is refreshingly good and combined with the meal makes you sleepy :)Pros:Great Taste of Nihari with different varieties (toppings), my favorite is the one with nali (marrow)Great LassiTasty roghni Naans Cons:- Its a tough drive amidst streets and alleys, but thats downtown rawalpindi- Limited seating arrangement

Dodai Khoray?..... Pashto for "would you like to have food/roti?" Yes, you're being invited to have the famous Pakhtun / Shinwari / Desi food of Peshawar in Bahria Town Phase 7 (opposite Green Valley / McDonald's), Rawalpindi. At "Dodai Khoray?", we've br
Newly opened restaurant, just next to McDonalds and GreenValley in Bahria Town 7 (opp DHA 1 Sector E). It is a medium size place with table seating as well as conventional cots. They serve Shinwari cuisine and dishes we tried, Chapal Kebab, Dumba Karahhi, Patta Tikka and Lamb Chops were all delicious. Peshawari Kehwa (green tea) was very good.Service is good, food served was hot and well made. Though they still are short of some dishes and drinks like lassi though in menu cards.Definitely a worth-eating place for shinwari cuisine lovers.Thank you for your kind words, sir :)

One of the few near decent places around phase 7/8 of Bahria town Rawalpindi. The location is nice with a view of hills and sawan river. The observation deck would be nice to sit at and have an evening tea or a supper if weather permits and mosquitoes are controlled. Food is predominantly Pakistani. It's a buffet with Chinaware and silverware and fabric napkins, and tablecloths and courteous helpers but tea is provided in cellophane cups.

Last Year ( though the date of visit column below has not the year 2017, it was september 2017) had a chance to visit for the first time, Monal Rawalpindi. This was the place where during our childhood we used to come and play as well as in late 60s I used to live in Chotta Bazaar Saddar. We had a family dinners at the roof top with my daughter's family as I was in Pakistan during my annual vacation from KSA.Food was good, with service as well. Yet I noticed lack of SAFETY provisions on roof top sitting with railing wide enough for small kids( God forbidden) to fell down. I suggest to have at least some measure to provide some barrier around the railing. We are glad that you had a good experience at The Monal. Thank you for such an elaborative review. We look forward to serve you again soon and would like to know that how can we improve up to your standards and get a 5-star? :)
