Aladdinâs Natural Eatery, located right on the Erie Canal in Pittsford is a little gem. We sat outside overlooking the canal on a pleasant early Tuesday evening. Our server, Christie, was very sweet and extremely helpful in selecting from the menu. She recommended the 4 veggie combo with double hummus, baba and an amazing dish called Tourlou. We really enjoyed this appetizer that included pita. My wife and daughter ordered a Greek salad with chicken, and a Mediterranean salad. I had a Souvlaki plate with steak served over a Greek salad. The steak was cooked and seasoned just right. We finished up with dessert to include their amazing Baklava. The bill for the appetizer, a beer and a wine, 3 meals and 2 desserts came to $92, which is about what I would have expected.

This is a barebones (and sometimes noisy) Mediterranean restaurant with very good food and great service!Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I love the combination plate, which has hummus, tabouleh, falafel, baba ganoush, and stuffed grape leaves (for about $14). It's filling, authentic, and tastes great! The pasta dishes ($13-15) are huge and very good. The gazpacho ($5) is pretty good, but too heavy on raw onions.Piles of excellent pita bread are provided.

We read reviews of Dalia's and had high expectations. My wife ordered Chicken Shwarma and I got Kibbee. The food came out quickly and looked great. The portions were generous. And then we tasted. The food had no flavor. Mine was dry and hard. My wife's dish "their specialty" was tasteless and lukewarm. I wish I had better news but we underwhelmed.

Basha features healthy Mediterranean food. I went there for lunch an ordered a grain bowl with quinoa. You go down a cafeteria line and select the ingredients you want added to your grain bowl or salad including a variety of vegetables, chicken or meat, sauces, etc. The restaurant is clean though the atmosphere is a bit on the sterile side.
