It lies on the Forth and Clyde Canal and on the south side of Strathkelvin, about 8 miles (13 km) northeast of central Glasgow. Historically part of Dunbartonshire, the town is the administrative centre of the East Dunbartonshire council area, and its population in 2009 was estimated at 19,700.

Amazing. Totally great, all of it. Nice building, great customer service and the food is top notch. The Sesame Fried Fish starter with the salsa was amazing. I had the Seabass Moilee main - amazing. We absolutely loved our food from start to finish. shared a hallomi starter which came with a delicious, light flat bread and garlic butter. Mains were one of the many lamb dishes and a whole roasted sea bass. Both excellent and plentiful. Excellent bottle of French Pinot Noir too for a reasonable £25.95. Highly recommended. make a booking to avoid disappointed. Was full when we left. Bigger restaurant than what you initially see. Servings are bigger than your normal Indian restaurant. They also have Persian cuisine for a difference. Great for children too. Have good variety for them. My 5yo loves the butter chicken for some reason, and also the lamb kebab. Also serve non alcoholic beer, which my pregnant wife enjoyed!
