At Taste Of Troy Grille, we serve authentic, Greek & Mediterranean cuisine based on ancient Troyâs bountiful history. Come enjoy fresh, healthy Gyros, Souvlakis, Moussaka, Baklava and much more! âEvery meal should taste this good!â
With my wonderful spouse being raised just outside Athens, Greece during his formative years, we seem to always search for authentic Greek food wherever we roam. Notice, I said food, not cuisine, in other words, the dishes that regular working people enjoy, not the decorative plate that is placed before you with a swirl of something and a single bite of something else. A tiny gem (this eatery seats 20 at best) is so small you really need to be looking for it, and even then you may not see it nestled in the corner. Don't be expecting anything close to a cafe or bistro, more like a hole in the wall Greek diner, it's cramped. But what a find! What a marvelous treasure. Your taste buds will be thanking you with every delicious morsel you bite into. We started with an appetizer called Sigara Boregi". We are still talking about how delicious they were 2 hours after our meal! We both got the gyro (please, everyone, it is pronounced "YEE ROW", not "Guy row"). Now the only reason we both got the gyro, was because we both spotted the vertical rotisserie at the same time. No pre-sliced fake gyro meat here!Heaven on a warm pita. Yep, truly an authentic meal. The meat was sliced with had that wonderful seared side that was mouth watering. Just enough lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce, to where the meat was the star with a lovely accompaniment of warm, grilled pita. The lemonade was a refreshing beverage that complimented the meal nicely. Will we return? You bet. Will we get the gyro again, maybe, but we most definitely will be getting the Sigara Boregi. Excellent food, total for the two of us was around $25.00. I call that a win-win. So come and locate this tiny little treasure trove of Greek food, you will not regret the effort. Thankyou for checking us out! We really appreciate your kind review. See you next time!

Free standing building , next to Fast Med Urgent Care and across from Best Diner. Large parking lot with outside sitting area and two private rooms for special occasions.
It is not very often that you see a restaurant with a posted 99 food inspection rating. Sarah's Kabob Shop has earned that fine distinction. I love their new location. It is so roomy, is very attractive, and is nicely decorated. Our favorite item is the Beef Shawarma. We order it with the medium spice level and it is just right for us. The meal is always carefully and attractively plated. Your meal is a feast for your eyes as well as a delight for your tastebuds. Meal portions are very generous in size. Everything is so very fresh and well prepared. I usually eat all of my fresh crispy salad. They I take home half of my beef shawarma and half of my pita for lunch the next day. Do yourself a favor and have a meal at Sarah's Kabob Shop soon.Thank you for the kind review:)) We strive to please every customer and am so very pleased that you enjoyed the food and atmosphere!! We hope to see you back soon:))

Came here because it was supposed to be Egyptian. I'm sure the cook was, but it tasted more like Turkish to me. Food was good. We had Babaganoush and shawerma (sandwiches) which were good. We also had Umm ali for dessert. Definately come hungry.
