Serving as the capital of Pakistan since the Sixties, Islamabad was built according to a carefully organized plan, divided into sectors along a grid of clean, tree-lined streets. The city is sheltered by the Margalla Hills, the foothills of the Himalayas and the home of rare species of leopard, deer, birds, and even porcupines. Several hiking paths end at Daman-e-Koh, a picnic spot with a splendid view of the entire city, including the massive modernist Faisal Mosque and even the Rawal Dam.

I always enjoy eating at centaurus monal downtown. The place is great. The platters they offer r extremely economical. A nive place to go with family and friends with an open kitchen. Although i find they have too many waiters and a bit slow service.
Tehzeeb bakers are specialized in making the variety of fresh cakes and sweets. They also make traditional fast foods like cookies, desserts, coffees dinner rolls etc. They also provide facility to their customers for making the custom food on their speci
Tehzeeb brings a great bunch of delicious baked items to its shelves, but I am a die-hard fan of its pizza that is second to non in quality, quantity, and price. Highly Recommended

The only Lebanese restaurant in town. Quiet street with the typical restaurant in a bungalow. Love the music but the food is a bit of mix. Enjoy the Zattar bread. The khubz is more like nan than pita but served hot. The hummus is ho hum. The shawarma is filling but the chips are all wrong. Please get the proper shawarma vertical grill and start home deliveries! An excellent new Arab exec chef has recently joined but what can he do if he doesn't get quality ingredients. Enjoy the heavenly kunafa for dessert.

Haleem Ghar is perhaps one of the best eating places on budget in Islamabad. They offer Haleem, Karahi, Nihari, Chicken Chana and similar dishes. There isn't a great variety of dishes to select from but it is good enough. The cooking standard is reasonably good but the best thing is that it is very cheap. Its hard to find food of this quality in such low price in Islamabad. The restaurant is simple, neat and clean.

This review is of Tandoori restaurant's f-10 branch. This restaurant has great ambiance, great service and serves delicious food. Served in appropriate portions: not too large, but enough to fill you up nicely. The choice of dishes is great. The experience is made even better with the restaurant's décor, comfortable seating and cleanliness. We ordered their bbq platter, hari mirch chicken, chicken karahi, malai boti and biryani. Each of the dishes was cooked really well; so fresh and full of flavour. Malai boti was a bit on the bland side though. Would highly recommend Tandoori.

Highland Country Club-Islamabad âââââââââââââââââGreat Place with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. My 3rd visit and so far it hasnât disappointed interns of food quality and ambiance. The road to the club is about pretty steepy but as their is still constructive going on so I hope it will get better. This time only had pizzas which were great in taste. 10/10 and great value for money.

Had breakfast at Zamana during my stay at Serena Islamabad. The restaurant is housed within a huge space with high ceilings. Loved the olden day decor and the wooden furnishings. Tables were well spaced out. The breakfast spread was fairly standard. Didnât find too many options available to me. The Bircher muesli was nice. The rest of the offerings seems rather heavy and more appropriate for lunch or dinner. During my two breakfasts there, I had asked for an espresso but was given a half cup of filtered coffee on the first occasion and the coffee never turned up on the second occasion despite me asking twice. Really bad service! And these guys are just walking around not doing much but itâs just so hard to get their attention. It would have been easier for me to get up and get the coffee on my own.For an establishment that boasts of being 5 stars and one of the Leading Hotels of the World, this place sure need lots of work.

Also has a sister restaurant in Karachi.
BBQ Tonight offers a good variety of BBQ. Other than BBQ, they do offer Pakistani curries and Continental dishes too but we found the quality of their continental dishes very ordinary. However, when it comes to BBQ stuff, they are good. So its better to order BBQ dishes only along with an odd curry. We tried four different types of kebabs / tikkas and they were all quite well made. We ordered brain masala too but found it quite ordinary. The ambiance and décor is ok but tables are located too close and overall, despite being a large place it gives the impression of a cramped /crowded place. There is an outdoor seating arrangement too that one can enjoy if the weather is good. Otherwise, better to sit inside. They have enough parking space. Rates are reasonable and it will cost you 800 to 1200 per head, with drinks.

A good atmosphere With an air of "old Pakistan". The service was very good, but we found the prices were really high for what we got to eat because the portions were not big. But it is Nice view of the village when one sits on the higher floor. I was not impressed by the restroom which had hardly any lights.
