A colleague recommended this place for lunch when visiting Mesa. Very nice when we arrived, had vegan and gluten free options. Unfortunately the service was less than appealing. We ordered three lunches only to have my lunch delayed then when they brought it, it was a turkey wrap which was incorrect. After everyone finished eating my order did arrive brought by the manager who said it was on the house and apologized. Quality of the food was really good so I decided to try them the next night via delivery and sadly the order was incomplete. Food is very good here but they are clearly disorganized. Hi there and very sorry for these mistakes and we completely understand your frustration. This is not the level of service we are known for and fully expect from our team. My husband and I were passing time before picking up our daughter from school. We were walking through the strip mall where Zorbaâs is located. We went in and spoke to the owner asking for recommendations. Everything sound so good. We went to pick up our child and went right back to have an early dinner (3:45 pm). The owner was so nice and made us feel welcomed. I love how the he came and spoke with us and has such a positive personality. The food was outstanding! I had the Gyro platter, my husband had the beef shawarma, and we shared with our 5 year old. The servings were large. We could not keep our forks out of each otherâs plates! Our daughter who is at an age where she is a very picky eater enjoyed everything. This is a great little find. Zorbaâs also has a full bar. Iâll try that next time!

My family and I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. I look for restaurants that are family owned and operated. The food seems more satisfying due to the added touches from people who care. I love just the basics at this restaurant. Marinated Chicken kabob, rice with a Greek salad. The menu at the Phoenicia Cafe is full of delicious authentic home made Mediterranean dishes. The hommus and baklava are two standouts. Check out the menu on line, better yet check out the Phoenicia in Gilbert.
