We saw this place recommended on TopAdvisor, and were not disappointed. Good quality, fresh ingredients, used simply, but well, made this a very enjoyable meal. Some of our party of 9 had not eaten Lebanese food previously, but it is somewhere we would all recommend again.

Was out in Perpignan on a Monday night trying to find a place open for dinner. Came across Cafe LâArganier which was quiet but appealing. Itâs next to the castle. Met the owner who speaks at least French, Arabic and English and was charming. Had excellent tagines (monkfish with preserved lemon and lamb with figs) and a bottle of local red wine. What else does one need? All in all a great choice and always nice to support locally owned and operated restaurants! Hi!Thanks a lot for your nice comment and hope see you very soon !

With only a couple of North African restaurants in Perpignan, we decided to have lunch at Le Casablanca. We ordered three different couscous, a traditional Arabic dish. The semoule (grain) was nicely cooked and lightly buttered. The quantity of meat was poor, and the brooth could have used more spices. The vegetables (mainly carrots) were coarsly cut. All of this was presented on unattractive white plates, served by a waitress with no personality, on paper tablecloth! This restaurant needs a complete make over, starting with the decor. The menu needs to be reviewed, and the staff trained on being gracious. Considering the lack of North African restaurants in Perpignan; there is an opportunity here to make this restaurant the destination for good Arabic food. There is a lot of work to be done!
