Came to Kadmus last time in Sydney for a business dinner. It was so good, this time I brought my wife! Absolutely confirmed my decision to come back...the banquet was amazing again...for fresh, beautifully cooked and presented, great staff, manageress and the chef even takes time to come out to thank diners for allowing him to cook for them...this is definitely my go to restaurant if I am anywhere writhing a 50klm radius...wish Kadmus was in my neighbourhood...oh well, gives us something to look forward to coming to Sydney for!

This is a really good Lebanese restaurant, authentic, tasty and fresh. It is located just down the street from the Belvoir Theatre and great for a pre-show meal, however its a short walk up a really steep hill to the theatre. Not great if you have a fully belly of food!

Modern North African / Mediterranean cuisine. Served by friendly staff, in an authentic relaxed Moorish style setting. Located in North Sydney, with beautiful Harbour and Bridge views. Cater for Big functions and Weddings in our upper level Function room.
I had been looking forward to coming here after having to make a difficult choice on a previous visit to North Sydney. Sadly I am significantly underwhelmed. After venturing out into the rain after continual downpour all day, the restaurant was about 1/3 full. After arriving and being seated I ordered quickly as I was dining alone (up for business). The bread took almost 30 minutes to arrive and whilst it was offered to be removed from the bill, the mains came out almost at the same time. The lamb was cooked well and delicious, but unbalanced as a main meal with only meat and then the acidity of the beetroot and tomato. After eating the meal I have been roundly ignored for the next 20 minutes, so I decided to write this review.Despite wanting to order dessert, no one has bothered to even venture over or enquire to my needs. They haven't even looked over to catch their eye.Update- I did just manage to get their attention and request the panna cotta. Thankfully it came quickly and although very tasty, is not worth the 14 for half a strawberry and a measley amount of fairy flossy. The food was nice but sadly the experience is not worth it.Hi there, I am so sorry to hear of your unfortunate experience. While we are glad that you were able to enjoy your food, i would like to offer my apologies that service was lacking on this occasion. If you do choose to dine with us again please refer us to this review so that we can cater to you the way you should have been on your first visit.

Taste of Arabia Middle Eastern Cuisine Tagines Shisha
While the waitresses were young gorgeous and lovely, the food was terrible. The Fatoosh salad was sad, soggy tasteless and nothing like it should have been, Where the was the sumac? The Kafta was like a bad tasting thick fatty sausage on a stick. The Prawn Saganaki, which we refused to pay for tasted like they were soaked in bleach. The prawn heads were black. The chef tried to tell us they were fresh...I don't think so. The hummus was dry and the sweet baklava had no syrup and was dry and old. It was an awful dinner, a good waste of $90. This place needs a health inspector.

Have been here numerous times before but first time under new chef and with new menu. Not impressed. Some favourites have been retired (barramumdi) with new ones such as barbounia and snapper not up to scratch as they were way overcooked. The entrees have gone bland from their previous sharp tastes. Best on the night was the imported baklava and the coffee for which I will go again for - after having dinner elsewhere!

Efendy means gentleman in old Turkish, but everyone is welcome here. Located on the corner of Darling and Elliott Streets, in a historic sandstone Victorian mansion, Efendy is a modern Turkish restaurant, complete with a basement bar, run by Istanbul-born
Had dinner there last night for hubbys bday. Had the feast menu and was so much food we could barely finish it. The bread tasted like pretzels and were hot and fresh, yummy with the dips. The lamb was so tender & smoky. But the dessert - omg.Would make the 2hour trip from our house just for the dessert. Amazing! The staff were probably the most attentive we have really seen in Australia and the glasses were never empty. The waitress even sung my husband happy birthday which made it really special
