Al Hamra restaurant is located near the busy intersection of Little River Turnpike and Columbia Pike. Newly opened, the halal restaurant offers Afghani, Pakistani and Middle Eastern food, every bit deliciously cooked. From biryani to falafel to wrap, the management aims not to miss anything from the vast region. The place is large and clean and the prices are reasonable, like a chicken wrap costs $7. A whole bunch of menu items are under $12. Staff is friendly as well. Definitely worth a try.

My second visit here, and this small restaurant has excellent food! My fav is the boneless chicken breast platter. The meat is extremely tender and the chana chickpeasâ- absolutely delicious!!Tonight we tried the Bouranee Baunjaun ( fried eggplant) and WOW it was scrumptious . I highly recommend Kabobistan!

When I went with my family to visit friends in Baltimore, MD we made sure to visit Shiney's. We had been there years before when my aunt and uncle lived there and loved their mithais, and their food was always deliciously spicy just like my mother makes at home. We were definitely happy we went there with the intent of having yummy food. Keep in mind, there is no atmosphere for a romantic meal, or a professional business meeting, but it is great if you want a quick cheap meal or if you are out with your family.

We had dinner here with friends primarily because we wanted to try a local Turkish restaurant. We were seated inside., but during warm evenings there is excellent outside seating available. The menu has several interesting choices, particularly the Turkish selections. I had one of the specials, slices of beef and land with two sauces, over rice. Other foods we enjoyed were a spinach pie (great) and a pasta dish with a type of noodle I have not had. My wife had Moussaka which was tasty. The calamari appetizer was great because it did not have breading -very interesting (and delicious). My only complaint is the prices of wines are high. Service was superb. Oh, you have to save room for the chocolate cake dessert!!

Outstanding food to include their Kabobs, Schwarma, Rice, Dolmades, Baba Ghanoush. Reasonably priced and good value. Staff and owner are very friendly! Service a little slow due to high customer demand, so unless you call ahead, be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes for your food. We've been repeat customers many times.

went there today after not eating there in a few months since I am not in that area as much. It is still the best kabob place around. I had a combo with salmon, which was moist and delicious and shami, well seasoned and moist.The number of options for sides available is great, from eggplant, to lentils to chicken curry! Without fail, there is a warm greeting when you walk in. If you like kabobs and gyro salad, this is your place.also, over 50% of the time I am given a small cup of chicken noodle soup that is so good.
