We eventually found this place. The over head lights were out so you couldn't see it from the road. We were so excited to find this on our two days away. We love Persian food. The bread served was not warm. It was served with garlic sauce. It was not Toom as it should have been. Toom is made with eggs, oil, and garlic. This contained yogurt. I am lactose intolerant. Now perhaps ai should have said, but I know my way around this type of menu. Thankfully I am only intolerant and not allergic, and the bloating isn't too bad as I stopped as soon as I realised it was yogurt based. Btw, the chilli sauce is ketchup with chilli added. Our meal finally came, despite asking for our meat to be âjuicyâ the chicken was so over cooked as to render it inedible. The lamb was also overcooked but remained chewable. We did complain. We were charged for only one meal, there were two of us. It spoiled our entire evening. If thats the standard of shawarma in Aberdeen its going to take a long while to catch on. I would certainly never eat Persian/ Lebanese food again, were this my only experience of it.Dear customerThank you for taking the time to write a review. We are incredibly sorry that you experienced these problems whilst dining at our restaurant. There are a great many types of bread so we provide one type. Our bread is a proper Paniniette fresh original Lebanese bread. It is up to the customer to advise staff if they have any allergies. As you mentioned yourself you did not advise staff that you are lactose intolerant. Also you did not mention that you wanted the meat to be cooked rare. The lamb was juicy but chicken cannot be served rare as it has to be cooked all the way through or you get very Ill.After you informed us of these facts we gave you one meal free as a gesture of goodwill. We pride ourselves to serve well-portioned, fresh, authentic Persian and Lebanese taste.Just to clarify after you almost finished the food you complained. Thank you again and we hope you find your match food.Shawarma

I have wanted to come here for a while, and the meal we had was OK. I just thought it could have been done with a bit more finesse. It was ok, not great.

We had another amazing vezir banquet here. This is one of the best restaurants in Aberdeen. Being vegetarian, this simply never disappoints. Hot and cold dishes, all bursting with so many delicious flavours. We had excellent service during a busy lunch time sitting. Credit to everyone involved in making this a fantastic visit.

We are proudly the first Lebanese restaurant & takeaway in Aberdeen delivering the authentic taste of Lebanese food locally. Our passion for baking made us strive to not only perfect traditional Fatayer (pastries), but to create new recipes that bring out
This used to be our go to place for Mediterranean food but not anymore. The food is way overpriced for what it is. Seems as if the owners have gotten greedy and decided to unjustifiably increase the price of food. In some instances the price has increased over 100%. Why anyone would want to get food from here is beyond me, you can have a nice sit down meal with full service at a restaurant such as Nargile or Rendezvous At Nargile for a similar price. If a sit down meal is not your cup of tea, do not worry, both Nargile and Rendezvous at Nargile do takeaway and deliveries as well. The food is mediocre at best and the dishes have way too much rice and very little meat. Makes you wonder how they could charge so much for practically rice. I definitely won't be coming back here again. You're better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere.
