My wife and I ate dinner last week at La Tolteca. We were surprised by the diversity of the menu, offering even many vegetarian choices. My wife had seafood entre which was good and I had a pineapple chicken fajita which was marvelous! Only drawback was the margarita my wife ordered from the bar appeared to be short on tequila. Service was excellent.

I read other reviews and so had pretty high expectations, they met them and more. It had a very nice atmosphere, the music channel they were playing had a pleasing variety, we liked all of the sugar skulls, and most of all a pleasant staff. Which included a bartender who was good engaging my Dad about tequilas when Dad found out scotch was not available and a very pleasant long haired waitress who walked us through a few house specialties and was very genuine, likeable person. Definately on the visit again list.

Not as impressed as the ratings show. There wasnât anything special to this restaurant. The menu was the same typical menu found on hundreds of Mexican restaurants. This is simply an average Mexican restaurant. The food was OK. I am visiting for business but if I was coming back, I would find another location to eat at. Restaurant needs a major uplift. It is very outdated and shows its age.
