We went there tonight on Cinco De Mayo!Had to reservations and were told that we had to wait due to a lack of staff (this is a Mexican restaurant that was understaffed on Cinco De Mayo ) !!!Consequently, the service was terrible! Had to wait a long time for a simple Margarita! Tried to order another one and it never came !!The food , itself, was â ehâ !!!Will never go back !!

I special-ordered chicken enchiladas with verde sauce and a side of guacamole. They were excellent. Beans were good. Guacamole average.I had to request chips for the guacamole. Excellent chips though.Good salsa bar but some of the salsas tasted weird to me, but I'm from Texas and I make my own salsas.Friendly staff.Hard to find a clean table.

Upon opening, we had to side step the wet mopped floors upon entering at 11:35am. They advertise open at 11:30. The food was not ready, and they stated that if you wanted steak on the burritos it would be another 15 minutes. Im puzzled why they would not be prepared and ready for business according to the hours posted on the door. After speaking to the Manager, he stated feel free to call corporate, im not worried. Wow! I wouldn't want that attitude running any of my business's. We left and took our business elsewhere. I spend my money where people appreciate it. This place does not qualify.

Having tried both Durango and Chipotle, I agree with others who say Durango is a step up. One of us had a terrific chicken burrito, the other had a very good chicken salad. Food was very tasty, line where we ordered moved rapidly, and the cost was modest. We were there about noon. Despite the fact that there are many restaurants in the area, this one was very busy.

Laid-back counter-serve Mexican chain with Baja-style tacos & burritos plus gluten-free options. Ultimate fresh mex made your way - exactly as you love it!
It is like Chipotle, Mo's,Panda express and many other places where you go down the line and pick what you want. They advertise "fresh eating or Eat fresh" but don't tell you how long the stuff has been sitting around before you order it. The difference between this place and Subway is that here it is on a tortilla instead of bread. We had chicken enchiladas. The chicken was at the bottom of the tray and maybe enough left for one more serving. I don't know when it was cooked and how long it had sat there but it tasted fine. They like to go heavy on the rice and beans as they are the cheapest thing to serve. Buffets push salad bars and sandwich bars use a lot of lettuce for the same reason. Two enchiladas and 2 small drinks was $19.70. This is a reasonable price for dinner but a little high for a lunch. I am still looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area but haven't found one yet. Everything we tried in this area is rice and re-fried beans with a tortilla with something on it. All American food doesn't come on a hamburger bun with french fries but we are being told that this is all there is to Mexican food. It isn't.

Pepper's cantina is a nice easy going place, we always seem to try their Nachos platter with shredded Beef and a Ice cold pitcher of Blue Moon. Food alway fresh, place always clean, not bad on the bucks either.

Our passion and love for serving the best Mexican food started in 1993 nearly 23 years ago at our original address 500 South with Bluff St. in St. George. In a modest, and humble place where we served delicious recipes of the most authentic Mexican flavor
We stopped here for lunch on our way to Zion. Small restaurant in what seems to be an old house. Very nicely decorated in Mexican Art. We were seated quickly and had our drink order taken right away. My daughter had the Veggie Burrito which was full of veggies and had a great sauce. My son and wife had the taco plates which were also very good. The rice and beans were excellent, this is super important to us so many places have very bland beans and rice. I had the Chicken Enchilada Platter ``a la cilantro` `which was excellent, really a great surprise. The salsa was very good as well as the guacamole. Canât wait to stop here again.

Hi Iâm from Vegas and I bought a torta last year and it was really good it came full of meat and everything but today I bought another one and I asked for two of them and I declined at the option of tips so I see the lady put it down on the register, I go back to my hotel to eat and thereâs very little meat on both of them, for being 15 dollars a piece I was left very disappointed that the food is affected whether or not tips are left.I am sorry your Tortas did not come with the amount of meat you desired. We work very hard for consistency in our quality and food portions. As for the tip. The cashier does not know if you leave a tip or not on our new system and wether a tip is left or not does not affect the cooks food preparation. We got the new system so that we would not have to handel customer,s cards and get better reporting and give more tips to our servers and cooks, We the owners do not take a share of tips it is all passed on the workers.

Our daughter recommended this restaurant and we went there for the first time. The food was great, the facility was a bit worn down. I had two mini tacos, steak and carnitas. My wife had a carnitas burrito. The tortillas were homemade. There is a salsa bar. I loved the horchata. We will go there again. The cost is inexpensive.
