We had a party of 8 at the restaurant to celebrate my Mother-in-law's birthday. The service was excellent. The food was good as well. We were also very happy with the molten lava cake that they brought Mom with 8 spoons so that we could all try it.

Not bad, but pretty much what you would expect walking into any other Taco Bell in America. I think their stuff is too salty myself.

We've driven past this place so many times, and finally decided to try it on our way home from running errands with our kids asking for tacos. This place is amazing - the tables and chairs are elaborately carved and brightly painted. The service was very good and friendly. My husband I both tried micheladas, which are a bloody mary-like beer cocktail: dark Mexican beer with lime juice, tomato juice, spices and a salted rim). These were great, although quite filling. My favorite Mexican restaurant where I grew up (near Detroit) had nopale cactus, which was my favorite dish, but it's hard to find at other restaurants. I was excited to find TWO dishes here which had it, so we each ordered one. My husband got Molcajete El Jalapeno, which was served in a traditional stone bowl (a molcajete) filled with pork, steak, chicken, shrimp, chorizo, Mexican onions and nopal cactus marinated in green sauce, and covered with cheese. It was huge, and came with tortillas, rice, beans and salad.I got Carne Asada, grilled skirt steak with grilled onions, cilantro, cactus (a very large piece!) and jalapenos. It came topped with a huge roasted jalepeno on top and it was SO good. Everything was very flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our kids got kids tacos and they were also quite happy with their meal. We will definitely be back!

We've been to Tienda Los Gemelos several times. The food and the prices make it one of the best options for Mexican in Madison. It would be difficult to just stumble across Tienda Los Gemelos. It's tucked away in the back of a strip mall which is perpendicular to the road. There is no signage to let you know it's back there. If you are like us and looking for it based on the address it can still be hard to find. Once you have found it, you'll see a small Mexican Grocery. Walk through the grocery and you'll find a substantially large restaurant next door. It's seat yourself and pay at the counter afterwards. The service is fine. Some of the staff are more friendly than others. The chips and salsa are included. Both are fresh and tasty. The menu has a lot of options you don't see at the usual Tex-Mex restaurants. There are various tacos, tostadas, pambazos, gorditas, sopes, quesadillas, and tortas as well as plates such as Bistec a la Mexiana or pechuga a la plancha. Absolutely everything we have had there has been delicious and reasonable priced. On our last trip I had the bistec encebollado. The beef was wafer thin and the flavors were phenomenal. The rice was fluffy and the beans creamy. I really enjoy the food. The Horchata is delicious and we've always been pleased with the margaritas.Try Tienca Los Gemelos. You're sure to be pleased.

We were excited for Oaxacaâs food in Madison and then we were disappointed. The drinks were good, the Aztec soup was good, as was the dessert, great flan. However the vegetarian enchiladas in mole verde and the the Cesar salad were very disappointing. The service was also kind of less than professional. Doubt we would go back.
We stopped in after a Target run and enjoyed a burrito and quesadilla. The queso costs extra, but is worth it for the punch of flavor it adds to your dish. This location isn't the best Pancheros we've dined at, but also not the worst. It does the job of filling you up so you can go on with your day.

Iâve been going to Pasqualâs for more than 25 years and love it. I love the decor and ambience, but the food is just good and solid. Not fancy, but very tasty and comforting. This is one of my go to places in the area!
