I had corn tortillas and tacos! Chicken enchilada, shrimp tacos! All yummy! Highly enjoyed eating here. Kids menu was really good too! Ale (Alejandra) the server was so nice, accommodating and helpful with my gluten free needs. Locals eat here and itâs fresh food. Most of all, the staff was genuinely friendly! We will be back when we pass through!

Friends of ours just at at LaVilla recently, and based on their recommendation, we tried it last night. Yes, my wife had their Chile Relleno -- she loves Chile Rellenos. I had their Mole Enchilada special. What I really liked is that their salsa that comes with the chips had a nice kick to it!The interior was nice and bright, so don't come expecting a dark, sedated place. One wall was half filled with a wide assortment of crosses that I guess they collect. For Halloween, they had a special "Day of the Dead" display set up.Dinner for the two of us, plus a beer came to $36 before tip.

Passed this place for years,never thought to go in. We finally did. Unfortunately we missed nothing. Service is lackluster, goes great with the food. Chips and salsa was the starter, salsa was a can of tomato with a hint of cilantro, pretty boring at best. Food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The desert, tresleche was the best part, well prepared and delightful. I gave a 4 because I think they are catering to a specific crowd and that crowd seemed to be regulars, so maybe my expectations were different than what I expected. Having traveled the world, all over central and south America, and Spain, etc. I must say they have a unique style all their own!
