We first stopped at a different place but the prices and selections did not impress us. We are not into over priced small plate places so we left and wandered down the block to Mi Cocina. My wife ordered the pork carnites and I had the flank steak with onions, peppers in tomato sauce. Both were very good although I thought the pork was slightly dry but my wife was very happy with it.Good service and the cost of our whole dinner was less than one entre at the first place.

I've eaten here 3 times I have found the food to be consistently excellent. Don't expect gourmet dining, but if you are looking for good solid Mexican fare and lots of it then this is the place!Service has been excellent, too. Friendly, helpful, and fast. This has become my "go to" Mexican restaurant when I'm visiting Ukiah. The fact that it's so close to several hotels makes it easy for many of us travelers.

Not sure why people like this place so much. Food was boring. Corn tortillas were stale and fell apart. Rice and beans were ok, but nothing special. Probably would not eat here again. The only good thing was afterwards we went to the Mexican ice cream place next door, where they have many flavors of fruit popsicles and Mexican flavors of ice cream (I had a scoop of Mexican Chocolate and a scoop of Rompope). Good prices too.

We had dinner here based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. We found the food to be reasonably priced and tasty. You order at the counter and the food is then delivered to your table. We found the service to be very good. The restaurant itself is very basic with outside tables available. I noticed that lots of locals and Latinos eat here, always a favorable vote.

Tour bus stopped in this town for lunch four of us found our way to this place. The food was outstanding, from the chips and guacamole to the fish tacos and chimichanga platter. I personally loved the selection of bottled sodas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Walked from the motel and enjoyed a great meal with wonderful beers from Mexico. The staff are fun and friendly. The restaurant is popular with the locals and was very steady with customers while we were there. I strongly recommend Jalos to anyone looking for some great comfort food. Nest time I am in town I will eat there. Safe Travels. Cheers

I discovered this place on a night bike ride this winter. They are very busy with lots of children but service is excellent. Portions are huge. The mole is really good.

My brother lives in Ukiah, and I enjoy eating out. This is the third time he's taken me here. Why? Fantastic chile relleno. Haven't had a bad meal. Hard liquor available. Parking doesn't seem to be a problem. Friendly staff. Regular table or high seat tables. Easy to find.

Formerly Mi Cocina, Eddie`s Cocina is a fine Mexican restaurant which has been serving Ukiah for several years. Not ostentatious, Eddie`s relies on food, service and a friendly environment to attract their many customers.
We stopped here on a road trip and were so happy that we spent a bit of time to find Eddie's Cocina! Everything we ate was delicious: from enchiladas, to burritos, to tacos and carnitas - all authentic. The service was very friendly and fast too. We came in as hungry, weary travellers with complaining kids and left refreshed, full and happy - without spending a fortune or taking too much time out of our trip.Love the free nachos and salsa - kept the hungry family from losing it!
