Waited on quickly. Food was great - though salsa was too hot. We asked for a milder salsa and they brought it quickly. I had garlic shrimp tacos which were excellent. My husband had his usual chimi and thought it was quite good as well. We are not from the area but should we ever go back we will definitely eat here.
I Live in Fairfield, and come in time to time for the fresh tortillas. Today, I purchased a little Father's day feast. I bought fresh, hot corn tortillas, carnitas, and hot sauce and pico de gallo made on the premises. I loved the reasonably priced selection, and the polite help. My husband had a pleasant surprise! Just delicious. This market is an important part of Fairfield. The propriator went on with expansion of the business in the face of the terrible tragedy of loosing a family member. I plan on continuing to patronize this vital market.
I used to really like this place. In the last 2 years it has gone downhill. The housekeeping and cleanliness is awful. The last time I went there the dining room of the restaurant had a wet floor sign and it smelled of piss. Appearantly the toilet overflowed and went out of the hallway and into the dining room. The lady who manages the restaurant is often rude and the employees don't speak English. More than likely they are illegals.

We actually went to the Pelayo's in Vacaville. There was a short wait for a table but the food was worth waiting for. Service was excellent.

While being authentic this place was sort of just above average. The margueritas were fairly tame for the price. The enchiladas were almost sauceless. The beans contained meat of some sort so vegetarians beware. Nothing really jumped out as stellar. But there was nothing wrong with the food either. But from the reviews we were expecting more.
Great food and prices. The decor is terrible. Their nacho supreme is out of this world. It easily feeds 3 for under $7. The homemade horchada is my wife's favorite.
What to do and see in Suisun City, United States: The Best Places and Tips
We were desperate to find a quick place for lunch. This place isn't that fast, but they make up for it with delicious food. We tried their tacos, quesedilla and burrito and they were all that you would expect from a similar kind of joint in San Francisco's Mission/Bernal areas. Great prices, nice casual family friendly kind of place. I have to say that their complimentary chips stand out, though. Thin, crispy, delicate and served warm! Not the kind of chips that come out of a bag, no indeed. This is authentic as it gets (that I can tell, but I am not a Mexican food authority by any means, just an ordinary NoCal consumer). There were mostly other Mexican/Hispanic/Latin customers. We were the only 'foreigners' (non-hispanic) customers when we went, so I suspect the restaurant might cater to the local hispanic population more than out of towners.

Always enjoy the food and drinks here. Great selection of food and always good. My only reason for not giving it 5 of 5 is that sometimes the service can be slow for both food and drinks. Otherwise, I would recommend it if you are in the area.

My husband and I stopped in here for dinner one night while passing through town. It was so good we almost stayed and extra night. I had the chimichanga and it was great! Cooked perfectly, crispy and light with plenty of fillings. IF you're in town stop here for sure!

Our group of 5, including a toddler, arrived at 5pm on a Friday evening, so we knew we were going to wait. My wife & I had walked over from a nearby motel, so I planned to sit at the bar, have a few brews & wait it out. Even the bar had no seating available! I wound up sitting outside, overhearing lots of complaining from others who thought they could just show up at that time & not have to wait. Our wait turned out only to be about 20 minutes for a table that was perfect for our group. My son & his wife, military types from nearby TAFB, made healthy modifications to the items offered on the menu that were no problem. My wifeâs plate of carne asada was not what we are used to. Weâre used to it being sliced in strips. This wasnât. But it was good. Her rice was more like plain white rice. I was quite pleased to see the option of swapping out my 3 item comboâs rice & beans for a salad. And it was a great salad. I will say that the food was worth the wait. I love Mexican food. Ironically, itâs kinda hard to find it well prepared these days. This was the very best Iâve had in a long time.
