One of the heartiest pastrami sandwiches I have had in a really long time. I loved the marbled rye and the condiment used was very flavorful. Enjoyed the experience and friendly server.

I needed a big meal after hiking the Narrows all day, and Whiptail Grill didn't disappoint! The Carne Asada Tacos were excellent, and these aren't street tacos. Two massive tacos loaded with tasty Carne Asada! They also had a good beer selection of Utah craft beersService from Jesus from great and quick. It's a great place to stop after returning your Narrows gear to Zion Adventures across the street!

We surprised ourselves by declaring our dinner to be the best Southwest/Mexican food we'd had. One of our choices in comparing restaurants is the carne asada, and it was top notch. The steak was a thicker cut than the normal thin slice of skirt steak, and it was perfectly cooked medium, with none of the tough chewiness we've seen elsewhere. The enchilada sauce was outstanding: smoky, dark, almost a mole, but without the sweetness. Guacamole was average, but salsa was great, as was the blueberry mojito. Artsy atmosphere, attentive service, separate bar area. Clearly a local's favorite, based on the crowds coming in.

I feel sorry to write this review because of the lovely staff, but quite simply put I thought the enchiladas dish was gloopy, tasteless and it looked odd. The place itself looks nice though, and it has a lot of potential if they would improve the food.
