I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday. The servers were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious especially the guacamole. The restaurant seems to be fairly new, or they just take really good care of this place. The restaurant was really clean and the ladies restroom was beautiful.

We have been going to Reynas for well over 10 years now. As a result, I have tried many of the items on their typically large menu featuring all the favorites. Service is friendly with the owner often taking the time to serenade his patrons. Located near PLU university, their is a nice mix of college kids and locals alike. If you like good mexican food and supporting hard working small businesses, then Reynas is the place to go!

I enjoyed a steak fajita entrée ($13.50) during happy hour in the restaurant lounge, offering $5 margaritas that were well poured. The fajitas were served hot and tasted delicious, with large portions of rice, beans and sides of pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and tortillas. I opted for the corn tortillas, but in reflection, enjoy the flour tâs more. My wife enjoyed a tasty plate of Arrox con Pollo ($11) which is chicken breast strips sautéed with onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. It came with rice and melted jack & cheddar cheeseâ¦..very savory. Warm chips and salsa are served prior to the entrees. The menu has a nice variety of options and the bar is well stocked with top shelf spirits, beer and wines. Plenty of seating in the main restaurant as well as the bar. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible from Canyon Rd.Weâd been on the hunt for Mexican food in the area for some time, most places taste like the food comes out a mold and is just bland with a little spice to heat things up.El Toroâs food is exceptional. This is a great find; weâve finally graduated to the big leagues!

I normally wouldn't write another review of a fast food place like Taco Bell. Most of you know what to expect, but I am continually surprised by the high level of customer service at this particular Taco Bell. Sure, most are just High School kids, but they genuinely seem to want to be there, to want to help me (their customer) and to do a good job. During a break, one of the kids came out to just chat to some of the customers in the dining room and thanked me for visiting. Obviously the manager does a good job to instill this work ethic in his/her employees. I have a choice of Taco Bell restaurants in the area to visit, but I always come back to this one.
This place has it all; great food, great service and a nice place to eat! We went on a Friday evening at around 6:00 and it was fairly busy. We were seated right away and given menus. We ordered the fried avocado appetizer dipped in chipotle aioli and couldnât stop eating it! Iâve never heard of this before but it was incredible! My husband had queso blanca polenta with pork shoulder and I had the marinated and grilled boneless skinless chicken thigh in cilantro and lime rice, grilled squash, pico, and caramelized onions. Dessert was lime creme boule...so good! We will definitely do eat here again!

I read what others said about Hidalgo's and decided to try it as we only live a few miles away. What I found was extremely bland food and at a higher than normal price for this area. We had chicken fajitas and the beans tasted if they were just out of the can. Plates were nicely presented but I wasn't there for plate art. Bartender can't follow instructions and made the margaritas her way versus what was ordered (told her not to blend them, got practically frozen margaritas from the blender). Service was fast and the waitress checked on us several times. There are several good Mexican restaurants in the area, unfortunately this is not one of them.

Tonala Mexican Restaurant offers unique dishes, including many authentic recipes from Mexico City. Tonala's menu includes over 100 menu items, including combination platters, seafood, street tacos, American dishes, and a children's menu.
Quality restaurants in Spanaway are like oasisâs in the desert...few and far between. So, I was pleasantly surprised after visiting the very good Mexican restaurant. It doesnât share the hype of some other local Mexican restaurants but it should. The dining room was nearly full in a recent Sunday evening so maybe the secret is out...this place has good food. I had the fajita quesadilla and my wife a burrito. Like most Mexican restaurants, portions are huge and we each had enough left over for another meal. Service was fast and efficient despite the crowd. We will return.
