All the right ingredients here, but the saltiness left us all reaching for the iced water. Service was good and restaurant environment was pleasant, servings were generous.

Extremely disappointed. If this is South Dakota's idea of Mexican food, boy are they sadly mistaken. I figured that I would try something else other than my typical beef enchiladas plate. You got the Pollo la Diabla. What this plate was, was a half a chicken breast cut in small pieces with three times as much mushrooms swimming in a Campbell's tomato soup sauce. I kid you not. No flavor, no spice, no Bueno. All this for $11 with tip. I would've seriously done better by spending six bucks at Taco John's. I'm sorry, but this is the truth. The staff is very nice, yet when she asked on my plate was, I told her it was so so. She replied nothing to me so I assume she didn't know what I meant. Sad.

Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop serves authentic Mexican food, and all of our dishes are made fresh. From scratch-made enchiladas to delicious tamales, there's something on our menu to satisfy any craving. Don't forget to stick around for dessert! We serve
We stopped by Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop when visiting Sioux Falls. The restaurant is small and it was packed. We felt fortunate to get a table when other patrons left. Giliberto's is an order at the counter restaurant. The menu is extensive both combo plates and many a-la-carte options. My chicken soft tacos were good, but they had quacamole on them (yuck) and I would have preferred a street taco version. My husband had a very large steak burrito, but the meat was hard overcooked cubes. The queso was very good, but the chips were just average! On a positive note - we left full and the meal was a great value!

Wasn't really thinking we would find good Mexican in Sioux Falls but we did! We were greeted with a smile and promptly seated on a Friday night. Place slowly filled up after we arrived at 6pm. Very friendly staff. Food was fabulous! Shrimp Fajitas, enchiladas were highlights. Word of caution -the plates come out extremely hot. Great for keeping food hot, but not so good for little fingers. Kids menu for 10 and under(11 year couldn't order from menu).

First time here at the suggestion of a friend and we were very pleased with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. It's another great choice for Sioux Falls. On a not-so-busy winter Thursday night, we were cordially greeted and treated kindly and promptly by the staff. Our group had the marinated mushrooms and shrimp (lots of them and delicious!) and chicken enchiladas. All done perfectly and the accompanying drinks - a tall Dos Equis Amber and margaritas on the rocks were also perfectly made. Along this stretch of Minnesota Avenue there are quite choices for Mexican.......this should be at or near the top.

I have gone there many times, and have enjoyed the food, but when I ordered tacos, they came with ground beef (tons of it) smashed into the shell with a very little sprinkling of cheese and lettuce ... no seasoning and my plate was full of grease .... sorry, but I am not returning

When we think Chevys Fresh Mex, we go to our happy place; fun-lovinâ guests, fajitas & margaritas, and the freshest food, always from scratch. Founded in 1986 in Alameda, California, Chevys is an ultra-casual restaurant concept that offers guests an array
Seated pretty quickly but waited for every step of the visit after that. Waited for chips. Waited for waitress. Waited for food. Waited for to go box. Waited for check.Waitress hardly checked on us for refills or anything. Manager walked by during our meal and hit his arm on a corner of a booth. He yelled "f--k." Loud enough a couple tables turned around to look. Very unprofessional.

Stopped in for dinner as we were looking for a place to eat and did not know where to go. This place serves, well, enchiladas - and several other easy to prepare Mexican foods. The elegance of this place is the simple menu. Fast and friendly service. Portions were pretty large. They have a selection of apps with beer and wine. It is a cozy restaurant, but don't let that scare you away. This place is worth checking out.
