Things to do in Seagrove Beach
Great food. This was our second time dining here. The food is great and the location is great. It does get very busy during the summer. We got there just after 5pm and waited about 30 mins.

Unless you are desperate for Mexican food in this area, I would avoid. Dinner for 2, 1 app and tea was $48. Food was flavorless and barely above warm in temperature. Ordered a chimichanga and it was doughy. Ordered #15 enchilada meal, chicken and beef were flavorless. Cheese enchilada was actually pretty good. Cheese sauce and chips was pretty decent.

Our family went this past week. Itâs essentially a big food truck place. There is a stage and music events that the kids loved and lots of seating. A few shops are there, too. But a cheese pizza was $20. Really? It was fine as was the other food we ordered (brisket nachos, shrimp dip). But I wasnât in love.

Even though it has mixed reviews, my wife and I decided to give it a try. We started off with the Peanut Seared Shrimp Lettuce Wrap...the shrimp were not fresh...quite fishy. My wife had the Chicken Carnitas Soft Tacos. The tacos were fried and quite greasy, and the chicken was dry. I had the Fried Shrimp and Chicken Fried Rice Bowl. The shrimp was quite good, and the sweet chili sauce really complemented it well. The chicken fried rice was pretty good, although the chicken was dry. The spring roll was good, especially when dipped in the sweet chili sauce. I did not like the southwest slaw at all. The cilantro overpowered the dish. The service was average at best...and they appeared to be understaffed. The saving grace was the live music. A lot of the best local artists play here. If you ever have a chance to watch Chris Alvarado, here or anywhere else, do it. He is an amazing artist. IF we ever go back, it will be to sit at the bar for drinks and listen to music.Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry your experience was not perfect. Hopefully you will give us another try soon. Chris is back this upcoming Tuesday and plays from 5-8pm.

La Cocina has been serving Mexican and Latin fare on 30A since 2009 in a fun, festive atmosphere. All dishes are prepared from scratch using the freshest ingredients available. La Cocina is nestled between Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, in Seacrest Beach.
Unfortunately, I donât remember our serverâs name. But, let me tell you - he was great. He sometimes works the bar. Anyway- he was fantastic. We always had full drinks and a cleared table. The food was excellent. The portions are nice sized too. Nobody in our group could clean their plate. My wife had the lobster taco and said it was the best she had ever had. I had the steak fajitas and it was cooked perfectly. I feel the food prices are very reasonable and on par with the quality. Certainly will be eating here again.
