Dinner for 6, called ahead and got a reservation! Food selection is excellent, even choices for vegans. Table side guacamole was outstanding! Everyone loved their meal, and had leftovers to bring home. The free chips and salsa also came with a hotter version that was loved! Pitchers of beer was nice economically also. One of of party wondered how they stayed in business with the amount of food on our table! Excellent meal, excellent service!

Had a early dinner here on a Thursday with family and friends from out of state. We dined alfresco, which was nice. The beer was nice and COLD, yum. Chips and salsa okay. I got a burrito, and it was bland, can't remember the name of it. My wife got the enchiladas with beans and rice, again bland, but the sides were good. We tried our niece's burrito, can't remember the name of it, started with a "J' and it was excellent!! Maybe we just aren't ordering the right stuff. Anyway, we will be trying it again. Only niggle, when we started to pay, we had planned on paying for the meal, but friends and family insisted on paying for their own meals, Clearly the waiter was not happy and it showed.

I stopped by for the first time to try their margaritas. Had a house margarita, which was average and overpriced at almost $9.00. I got some chips and salsa, which are normally complimentary at most Mexican restaurants, but not here -- $4.00 for a basket of average tortilla chips (I've had better supermarket ones) and a small dish of watery salsa that really wasn't enough for the amount of chips. When I asked to get the salsa refilled, she said it would cost for either a 'full' portion of a 'half' portion, which would have been roughly 3 tablespoons. When you're charged for salsa and the serving isn't even enough for the basket of chips, you should not be charged for a refill! The owner is CHEAP, and he should be embarrassed. Based on this experience, I rate this place terrible. AND, the atmosphere is awful -- tawdry, cheap furnishings, no ambience whatsoever. Go to Portland for Mexican.
