Things to do in Santiago
Hi I have lunch at this restaurant, nice place they offer regional food which is great, excellent service from Waiters. They have an inside and outside área to have your lunch, What I highly suggest is that they need to install air conditioning inside the restorant.

Unfortunately we had an extreme slow service. Tables around us received their food earlier an that is pretty frustrating.Flavor on both dishes could be improved a lot. Our experience: pozole was flavorless and enchiladas were so so.We went there because it looked nice.

Delicious traditional restaurant, simple but tasty.Tipical regional food, enchiladas, flautas, tacos, and traditional asado de puerco (pork stew) and the best chiles rellenos. You can order to go.
Cuenta con amplio estacionamiento, lugar muy agradable para desayunar, comer o cenar. Platillos regionales muy ricos con excelente presentación. Tiene venta de productos artesanales. Lo recomiendo.

This is a very nice, very popular restaurant in the heart of old town Santiago, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Food is typical authentic mexican food: tacos, sopes, enchiladas, asados and steak. Their specialty are the empanadas for dessert (this place actually started as a dessert and coffee shop). The Cafe de Olla is typical mexican sweetened coffee and it is very good. It is also a great value for your money. The bill for 7 adults and 1 toddler, lunch with dessert and no alcoholic beverages, came to about 60 USD, with gratuity included.

Traditional Restaurant that offers regional food in Santiago Nuevo Leon since 1957
Fantastic restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Breakfast is nice with Tacos de barbacoa and fresh orange juice.Lunch is probably the best. Try the daily soups. "Caldo de res" is very delicious.Dinner are also great. Try Asado. You can not go wrong.Every time we visit Santiago my Dutch husband first choice is this restaurant.

Large restaurant serving true mexican food. Many large families dining. Staff was great, spoke English but it took a long time to get our food. Restaurant was very crowded but food was worth the wait, very good. Wait staff was working very hard to keep all very large tables, lot so people happy.

We had a great experience in this restaurant! The food was delicious - we tried original dishes, not going for the most obvious. The fusion between italian and tunisian was well achieved. We were visited by the owner at our table who was very kind and welcoming. He explained us the origin of the idea and his experience in Italy. We will be back for sure!

Also known as El Traspatio, Restaurante Terrazas
Nice breakfast place, but the devil is in the details. Prices are fair, but I guess most people would gladly pay a little bit more for better quality ingredients. Locally sourced ingredients would definitely make a better experience. Instead of serving fake (fructuose) maple syrup they could use the real thing. Instead of commercial brands of coffee dairy creamer, butter, cookies, honey, jam, maybe try some locally sourced products. And no orange juice available? C'mon guys! You are forty miles away from Montemorelos.Service is good and the patio is simply the best.
