It took us nearly 2 years to try Netos, and I really really really wish we'd gone sooner. Their fish tacos are some of the best I've had in San Diego (that's saying a lot), their chicken enchiladas are bomb (tons of chicken, not overly cheesy/sloppy), nachos are amazing (but it's hard to mess up nachos), and I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of their menu! It's located in a nearly empty strip mall and is easy to miss, but make a trip out - so worth it.
This taqueiria is the best. Tacos are legit and they even put frijolitos (little beans) in the taco. Very authentic. Carne asada, al pastor and birria are the best. Love the marinated cucumbers. Salsa roja (red) is very good and tasty. Glad to see they changed their hours and days open. Will get there more often now. You won't regret coming here.

This place is in the middle of a strip mall. It looks rather inconspicuous, but the food is really good and inexpensive. The green chili burrito is made from fresh marinated pork and is fantastic. You place your order at the counter and they call your number when the food is ready. They have a salsa bar and service is usually fast.

One of my all time favorite eateries in the North San Diego County area. Cenote Grill has a wonderful menu a fusion of healthy Mexican and Asian options. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming, service always with a smile and food is delicious and different. Everything Ives tried has bee top drawer. From Soup, to salad, fish tacos to whatever entree speaks to your tastes. They offer brown rice as well as white, and other healthier options. You will be happy you came. Warning. It gets busy weekend evenings. Great fare. Canât recommend highly enough.

I really like this little informal restaurant as they have very reasonable prices, very large portions and pretty good Mexican food. This combination makes it a very good value. Their burritos and quesadillas are very large (have not tried anything else). They also have a salsa bar which is great for me as I like a variety of salsa and lots of it. You can buy a large bag of chips for $1 enough for at least 2. Their drive thru window is very busy during meal times. I've eaten both here in San Marcos and another one in Poway and both were very good.

Our daughter introduced us to this place and it is quite a find. We have had their crarnitas and they are excellent. People we have been with have had carne asada burritos and mixed fajitas and they were equally good. The waitresses are extremely nice.

For 30 years, we've been serving our customers the best Mexican food, zesty margaritas and ice cold cerveza. We feature a famous Sunday brunch served from 10-2 every Sunday with all of the family favorites. It is offered with unlimited champagne, omelet s
First visit. Had lunch (but ordered off regular menu). Very friendly staff in a lovely setting. Husband & I enjoyed the fresh, crunchy chips & flavorful salsa. Salsa was smooth type - no chunks of tomato or onion (which I prefer), but good flavor & spice. Then we shared a 3-item combo, with cheese enchilada, fish taco & chili relleno. Nice presentation, generous enough portion, lots of melted cheese & red sauce, and included rice & beans - but very little flavor! The chili relleno was mostly batter & a rather small pepper inside. The enchilada was beautiful. The fish taco was fried, but came with fresh lime & pico de Gallo. Love the ambiance, but the food needs more seasoning (& I donât mean just salt & pepper)! Needs more cumin, coriander, garlic, onions & chili! SO bland! But maybe theyâre just catering to Gringo taste. Thatâs fine elsewhere, but this is SoCal, so would expect better. Never-the-less, this is a very nice restaurant in spite of blandness!
