I visited Taquerias Arandinas one evening and was pleasantly surprised. They have a great free appetizer of charro beans with onion and peppers in it- mmmmm! I had the Pechuga de Pollo- grilled chicken breast. It was great and came with flour or corn tortillas, plus rice, beans and salad. I passed on the rice and switched my beans to charro- yum! I really enjoyed my meal and also the nice atmosphere. Will be back!!

I'm kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. Yes, it looks a little rough around the edges, but it's a true gem. We both tried the lunch weekday specials which include a puffy taco, another entree in our case enchiladas for me and bowl of tortilla soup for her, rice, best charro beans ever. Drinks included (recommend forgoing the Pepsi products and have their incredibly strong and flavorful iced tea), all under $7 each. You place your order at the counter, take a seat with the free chips and salsa and get your drinks and wait a little while. When they call your number, and yes it can take just a little while but well worth it, you pay and are good to go. No Styrofoam except the drink cup. This food would have been worth it at twice the price. Puffy tacos are like gorditos - soft on inside/crispy outside thick fried corn meal tortillas loaded with tasty ground beef, veggies, and a truly smooth and delicious guacamole dressing.

Have been going here for years, since they opened. Used to be much better. their flavor has decreased over the years. Not sure if they are using a new beef vendor recently; however, tougher, and less flavorful. We used to always have the same waiter; who was lively, smiled largely, had great communication, and really made us want to keep coming back. however, lately, although friendly, the waitors/waitresses do not speak much, just smile, and take orders. they need better personality in this restaurant to keep them going; especially when the food has decreased in quality. we used to like the mariachi singers, and other entertainment in the past; however this went away as well. the chips and salsa continue to be fresh, and yummy. the drinks are the same.

Rosa's Cafe is an upscale, fast-casual restaurant concept. Boasting the attributes of most full-service, sit-down Mexican food restaurants, Rosa's Cafe is unique in having an express drive-thru window to complement their authentic and colorful interior de
We arrived late for lunch and the place was empty. We ordered and got our drinks and sat down. The food was fast and there was lots of it. The queso and chips were delicious. We so enjoyed the salsa bar and everything disappeared, including the wonderful, warm tortillas that were freshly made. Canât say enough about how good everything tasted. I am sure there are fancier places in the area, but this was good and fast and perfect for a mid afternoon, after flying, meal.

La Cocina is a hidden delight in a small strip mall in Round Rock. Itâs a cozy, unassuming place with very good service and a solid menu â one page of Mexican dishes, and another of Italian plates. The chef is Mexican and his wife is Italian, and they both brought their family favorites to the table. The tomato sauce is spicy and delicious, and the Mexican daily specials are consistently wonderful. Give them a try!

My wife and I had lunch recently at Juarez Restaurant / Bakery in Round Rock Texas. It was a pretty typical Mexican style restaurant. I had an enchilada that was 'okay'. (With some many Mexican restaurants in the Austin area - this was 'good' maybe 'very good' but not the best (but worth going to). The wait staff was excellent

Great margaritas,ok chips & salsa. I was disappointed with "white enchiladas " that turned out to be green with uncooked tortillas and unmelted cheese. However, my Dad loved his beef tacos and my hubby liked his mole enchiladas. They also serve breakfast all day. The decor is nice, but the bright, florescent, overhead lighting keeps this place from having a warmer feeling. The servers were friendly.

Crowded and loud on a Wednesday evening, the staff was very friendly and attentive. An extensive menu provides many options for food and drink. Our (top shelf) margaritas were delicious. The chips and salsas were also fresh and tasty. The flautas were very good, (properly) with pulled smoked chicken. The beef chile relleno was delicious as was the beef enchilada. Accompanying beans and rice dishes were nicely seasoned. A good choice for the area.

The Baja ShrimpTacos are my favorite at Torchyâs. They have a drive in window and have never made any mistakes on my orders. Everything is fresh every time I have gone to them for Tacos. If you have not gone to Torchyâs you should go, you will not be disappointed.
