Whenever we are busy all day and are too exhausted to cook at home, we think of spicy Mexican comfort food. This is one such restaurant that we came to, based on the recommendations of some family members who live very close by to this place. We decided to meet up here, and are so glad we did.We were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. All the food was fresh, spicy and delicious, and the portions were extremely generous. Next time we know to share so as not to have any left-overs.Chips and a trio of salsa dips (from mild to medium) started us off accompanied by Mango Margaritas infused with chopped Jalapenos. I savored my Chillies Rellenos, while the others had Burritos de Mole and Chicken Fajitas. It was too much food for one dinner, so now we have enough for another meal. This was a small, cute and quaint family-run place filled with brightly colored fiesta décor from Mexico. It was also one of the best casual Mexican places we have been to in the area. Since it is not too far from home, we would be willing to return with family and friends.

Not a whole lot to tell. We have eaten at many Mexican restaurants and this one is not great. The dining room is clean and bright although crowded with tables. The food is quite average and a somewhat overpriced resulting in lesser value. Had to wait for the chips which are greasy and tasted stale. Menu was limited, chairs have hard wooden seats, when crowded the room was very noisy, for some reason they showed a sporting event on the dining room monitor, and there is practically no parking except for driving around to search for a spot. The guacamole was okay but could have used just a bit of heat. Staff was friendly. Not worth the visit.

While reading reviews of another Mexican restaurant, they mentioned this place so we put it on our radar. On the small side. Street parking. Great selection of Mexican and BBQ choices. Salsa and chips were fresh with just the right amount of heat. You must try the Avacodo Taco Sliders. Portions are definitely sufficient. BYOB. Call ahead for large groups.

No joke...best tacos in NJ. Expensive at $13 for two but worth every penny. Guacamole and tasty, salty chips are rock star. Only complaint would be that margarita was just ok.
Came with my husband and kids on a beautiful Saturday evening. Went to host stand and many workers walked by me and eventually someone appeared. Asked for outside table knowing Iâd need to wait bc they were all taken. Hostess wasnât sure how to handle that, perhaps writing my name down would help. Another worker says come back in 15 min. We do and a table was open. Table was dirty still and I had to request them to clean it off as they were bringing us menus. No water was brought until 10 min after we ordered. Salsa and chips came out timely. 40 minutes pass and the outdoor tables open up and only 3 tables taken. Still no food. Same for the table next to us who were there much longer. Waiter comes out and says be patient please to us with no explanation. Another 15 minutes pass and not one ounce of our order comes out not even the soup. We decide itâs time to go and tell our server and theyâre like ok. No apologies or any care. So, is the food good? We donât know and we will not find out. Thumbs down on service.
