Reviews on Mexican food in Queretaro City, Queretaro, Mexico. The locals have long frequented "balnearios" and 600 hot springs bubble up around the country. Tequisquiapan, an enticing cheese and wine-making region in the state of Querétaro, is the perfect destination for those wanting to pair their hot springs experience with a delicious gourmet escape.

Something different and special. The service was excellent, I was a bit overwhelm with the menu, but they took the time to explain it and make some great recommendations. The Lime Soup was extraordinary! Great drinks and wonderful selection of deserts. I'll make sure to go back there on my next trip!

We choose the restaurant for the New Years evening dinner. The ambiente is nice, but thatâs all. Food and service were low quality

The food served is excellent. The architectural is a combination of an old hacienda but made modern. Stone, brick, many tables and clients. The neighborhood is very interesting as well. It does tend to be a bit loud because of the background music. At least during weekends the music may be live. I would prefer low volume or no music at all since this is a place to enjoy the presence of family and friends, more than a music show. Still El Salitre us well worth a visit.Robert, thanks for leaving your opinion. For us is really important to know what foreign visitors think about #ElGranLugarDeQuerétaro. This will help us to know what we can improve to make everyone feel more comfortable and enjoy their time with us. We hope to see you back soon.

Not sure if we went at an off time but this turned out to be our least favorite meal in Queretaro. I was really looking forward to the tamales but they were just ok. All of the dishes were fine but just not as good as the other restaurants we tried. We did go about a half hour before closing and were the only ones in the restaurant so not sure if that affected our experience. Prices were pretty inexpensive though.

Mexican cuisine restaurant, with local seasonal and organic products. We work together with producers, craftsmen and sustainable projects. Philosophy slow food.
We went to a mezcal tasting accompanied by original versions of typical "antojitos". Chef Juan Pablo really knows about mezcal, enjoys and shares his passion about it! We loved the mezcales and the food was delicious, fresh and original .. The chef explained that the ingredients are local (they have their own organic farm)...We will definitely return!

Hacienda Laborcilla, is located in the hull of a Hacienda of the eighteenth century remodeled in its entirety to become a Restaurant Bar. The decoration is what most stands out in this place has a source of more than 18 meters in length which makes it In
Another lovely evening at Hacienda La Laborcilla! Misael and Abel provided excellent service. The food was just as outstanding as always, and the saxophonist added to the already wonderful atmosphere. This remains our favorite restaurant in Querétaro and one of our favorites in all of Mexico.
This place is incredible!, i love the food the service and the ambiance, their old radio collection almost makes it a stop all on its own!!

Esto es cocina queretana. Cocina mexicana depurada, en un ambiente atractivo Mexican cuisine with a beautiful ambiance
Went there with my whole family, they all enjoy the traditional Mexican food. The service is quite slow, but the food is great. The only thing we didnât enjoy, is that thereâs almost no food without spices and the dessert churros where hard as a rock. If they manage to improved the service and keep on the great quality of the food this will be one of the best restaurants in town!
