Arrived in town on a Friday about lunchtime and saw several Sheriff's Deputies going in so thought it must be good. Several laymen plus couples, mom's with kids and some singles. Male waitor who acted like owner-manager. Fred chips arrived with two dishes for sauce and a small quortino of homade mild sauce but hot is available. I ordered a taco, a burrito with just beans - no red sauce, no cheese, no onions just beans. I asked do you understand and he agreed. Also yellow rice and beans as it it served only with beans. See photo. Wife had burrito, beans, and taco.Notice mine is buried in red sauce and cheese. I ate the very good taco to get room to clean the burrito to the way I ordered, scrapping the more than ample red sauce and a layer of white cheese. It was a good and simple lunch (not filling) unless you devoured chips. I seriously would go to Taco Bell before I would return.

So upon attending the Mothman festival this year decided to try a local restaurant. Asked about and found this place. Ok, the only negative is they were short staffed on Mothman day...the biggest day for visitors. So getting seated was wait, getting service and getting the bill as well. HOWEVER, with that said we still had an amazing meal. I had the classic lasagna and it was AMAZING! Delicious amounts of meat and sauce, gooey cheese! My friend had a Mexican food sampler, and he really liked it as well. Great bread and salad as well. It's a strange combo mexican and italian , but hey, you get your choice for variety . During a regular time I'm sure you'll have no problem with service, but again Mothman is their Christmas season for visitors.

The restaurant is at the end of a strip mall next to Wal-Mart but is bigger than it looks and is open despite surrounding construction. We popped in and had a great meal of chimichangas and enchiladas. My steak was tender and the chimichanga was perfectly cooked and the wrap on it was perfect. My husband loved his enchiladas and our daughter's chicken in the chimichanga was nicely seasoned. We will be back as we return to the university for various events.

My family likes Taco Bell but we think the one in Gallipolis has to be the worst in the nation.... Last night it took 20 minutes at the drive through. Often they are out of food and always out of mild sauce which seems very odd to me?
