Sometimes I just go with my instinct and stop at a place without consulting tripadvisor (although it's just occasionally). The employees could not have been more pleasant and made an excellent salad. Well done Next Stop Gourmet!!!

new restarant opened January 2011
I knew that I might be in trouble when I realized that there were very few people in the restaurant. The service was poor and the food even worse. The waitress seemed very inpatient when I asked her to explain the difference between a burrito and a tortilla. She was non attentive. I had a steak chimichanga that arrive Luke warm and the beef was very tough. My wife had a chicken baracco which was over spiced. I would never go there again.

My wife and I dined here for the firs time and were really impressed. We did not have a reservation but were seated upon arrival. The service was terrific - efficient and non-intrusive. The menu is fairly extensive and we wound up here mainly in a quest to find a good plate of fish tacos. My wife loved them and I had chicken enchiladas mole, which was also very good. Of the Mexican restaurants in this corner of Westchester, Maya Riviera is as good as any of them; perhaps better. The two of us had drinks and dinner and the entire meal came to less than $50 (not including tip). Will we go back. Yes. Would we recommend it to you? Yes.
