Located on the E side of Preston Road, just north of Parker Road, this is a very good Tex-Mex restaurant. I heard that they offered tableside guacamole, so I wanted to try it. So glad I did. When you order the Guacamole en Molcajete (guacamole in mortar) they wheel an entire cart to your table and prepare it in front of you. 3 fresh avocados (number may vary based on size of avocado), sea salt, fresh-squeezed lime, tomato, onion, cilantro, and other ingredients depending on whether you like it mild, medium, or spicy. This is served in a mortar stone base. There's honestly nothing like freshly-made guacamole. Give it a try!I also tried their chicken enchilada - very delicious as well. Lots of others dishes to choose from - to include fajitas, quesadillas, tacos, and grilled entrees. Of course, they have tres leches dessert cake. Full bar as well for all your favorite drinks.Thank you for your review, oceanpalace! You almost gave away our secrets. We are thrilled that you enjoyed our original tableside guacamole. Please come again soon!

Gloria's growth has been a constant ever since then. Now boasting 15 Texas locations, the restaurant still serves the same delicious Latin cuisine that has been satifying hungry Texans for over 25 years.
Not just Tex-Mex but also Salvadoran and other Latin American specialties. Gloriaâs is our no fail option for our weekly fix of outstanding frozen Margaritasâ- the house special is cheap and excellent â- and Mexican or Salvadoran food. So many excellent dishes include meat, fish, veggies and more. My favorite is Chili Relleno stuffed with cheese, delicious and it wonât wake you up at 2:00 am with indigestion. Moderately priced, Gloriaâs is Fairviewâs finest dining experience.

I met a client here for lunch, and it was the first time I had been to this restaurant. The menu is clearly Mexican inspired, but had a wider variety of dishes than I had expected. I had a stacked chicken enchilada dish which included a fried egg on top and great sauces. It was great. I was impressed and enjoyed the creativity that went along with the dishes. I'll be back for sure.We are happy to hear that you and your guest enjoyed lunch with us! Chef DeLeon was inspired by not only traditional Mexican cuisine but also the flavors of New Mexico and the Tex-Mex he grew up with. We hope you join us again soon!

We are your go to destination for delicious scratch-made Pan-Latin cuisine and a refreshing cocktail. Open for lunch, dinner, happy hour and brunch!
Roasted chicken enchiladas had 3 different sauces, all excellent, cilantro lime rice and beans. Beautiful restaurant inside. Also had patio seating with fans. Only thing it lacked was service to match the food. We had mimosas and weren't told there was a mimosa bar. Had to ask for chips 2x. Salsa was great! Can't wait to return.

Just down the road from our hotel. Our group went here for some Tex-Mex. The interior was well done and provided an inviting environment. The entrees all looked good and inexpensive. I had the chicken tacos and a great margarita. The food was very good, our server did a great job and we were in and out pretty quick

This restaurant serves delicious Tex Mex entrees. Their chips are tasty. I preferred the red salsa over the green. I had the Pollo con Salsa. A tasty chicken breast grilled and covered with a remarkable Poblano sauce. Their Guac is great. Can't wait to return

This is a really good family restaurant. It has everything you would be looking for. A casual atmosphere, fun decorations, a great wait-staff, very good food, big portions and very reasonable prices. I had assumed that the menu would be all Mexican food but they had a nice selection of other items. Their chips and salsa were awesome. As I am from Arizona and have ready access to good Mexican food all the time I decided to go with the chicken fried steak. OMG it was HUGE! Looking around at other tables I could see that portion sizes of all the dinners were very big. You are not going to leave this place hungry. Their prices are very reasonable, even more so when you take into account the amount of food you get. I would most definitely eat here again

A group of us had dinner here and all of us enjoyed our meals. I had the Brisket Tacos which were excellent. The service was great and Luis, the bartender, was outstanding.

My colleagues and I chose to have lunch at Chuyâs thinking weâd be in and out in plenty of time. We arrived at opening (11:00 am) and our party of 12 was the second table seated. We ordered drinks (8 of which were water) and then waited 15 minutes to have our food order placed. Fifty minutes passed from our arrival until our food was served. As my food was handed to me, I asked for our checks. It still took 20 minutes for us to pay and leave. While the food was good as usual, service was lacking. We watched as our server visited with other employees instead of placing our order etc. We wonât go there for lunch again, but I would stop in for dinner when I have plenty of time.

Had dinner with a large group with a relatively short wait. Margaritas were tasty, but nothing special. Salsa and chips were plentiful and with the right amount of heat. Entrees were good and the portions generous. Service was friendly and attentive. Not bad for the suburbs.
