Pearland (/ˈpɛərlænd/ PAIR-land) is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, within the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Most of the city is in Brazoria County, with portions extending into Fort Bend and Harris counties. As of the 2010 census, the city's population was 91,252, up from a population of 37,640 at the 2000 census. Pearland's population growth rate from 2000 to 2010 was 142 percent, which ranked Pearland as the 15th-fastest-growing city in the U.S. during that time period, compared to other cities with a population of 10,000 or greater in 2000. Pearland is the third-largest city in the Houston MSA, and from 2000 to 2010, ranked as the fastest-growing city in the Houston MSA and the second-fastest-growing city in Texas. As of 2015 the population had risen to an estimated 108,821.

We stopped in for a dinner after an all day swim meet. We were promptly seated, but then we sat for about 15 minutes before we were offered water. The restaurant was not busy so I do not know a reason for their slow service. It had been raining quite a bit all day and the ceiling was leaking through a recessed light fixture. I would hope they get this fixed. Once our food finally arrived, it was really good. I had the beef fried avocado, I would get it again.

Emmaâs is wonderful! Our every Friday night go to. Everything is fresh and has good flavor. They have the traditional Tex Mex and also a good authentic selection. They have The Best Margaritas too! Several flavors to choose fromâGold, Sangria, Watermelon, Tamarind, Hibiscus, and my favorites Horchata and Cantaloupe.

1/2 off fajita night was a nice surprise and it was delicious! I had veggie fajita - fresh, nicely grilled, and great rice and guacamole to go with it! Husband and kids had the beef and chicken combo - yum! Great margaritas and our daughter raved about the queso! Amazing service and ask for a hot salsa - they made it fresh for us! Perfection!

Oh wow! We stayed nearby after our connection flight was cancelled. After a quick search of nearby restaurants we decided to Uber here. The salsa is easily the best salsa weâve ever tasted. The carne asada and the tour of El Paso were FANTASTIC!!!!!!! Everything has such amazing flavor! My husband said âI donât like mole sauceâ. When his food came out he said âmmm... this mole sauce is great!â I said âI thought you didnât like mole sauceâ and he replied âwell I like THIS mole sauce!â

Stopped by for lunch. Even though they were very busy, we got seated promptly. The food is always fresh. Love their green avacado salsa! Lots of choices of dishes to select from. The staff is always prompt and efficient. Enjoy the complimentary ice cream cone on the way out!

Stopped in as a group and had dinner and drinks. Mely provided us with great service and always made sure we had everything we needed.The beers were large and cold and food was delicious. Had the quesadilla and it was a big portion, big enough to share. The atmosphere was great for our outing and had a good time. They also have free ice cream which is located by the entrance.

A friend from out of town was in the mood for some Tex-Mex and Gringo's was in the area. The food and service were good. Portion sizes were plentiful and the menu selection and prices were typical for a Tex-Mex restaurant. With several other restaurants sharing the parking lot parking was the only drawback.

I have been going to Gringo's for about 15 years and I have never had anything to find fault with. Yes it is crowded and there is normally a long wait but that is the price you pay for having great food and good service.
