We went here for lunch...the counter service was good, the location behind Walmart was poor, the decor boring, and the food average. We won't be returning.....sadly there is no place for good Mexican food in Pahrump.

Located inside Shell Winery Super Mart, Corner of Hwy 160 and Winery Rd.
We had read reviews which were very favorable about Mariaâs Taco Shop and decided to try it. First of all it is located inside a Mobil gas station in Pahrump on the corner of Route 160 and Winery Road. There are not tables or dinning in available....it is to go only. The staff was friendly and there is a wide selection of items on the menu to choose from. My husband really liked the bacon, egg, cheese burrito on the breakfast menu. I enjoyed the Chile Relleno. The chips were good as well. Enchiladas werenât too bad either. Prices are reasonable.
By far the BEST tamales! We used to spend our winters 10 miles from Mexico. Since moving here we've craved the taste of REAL Mexican food and we found the only place in Pahrump to give us what we've been searching for.OMG are they good. Husband only brought home 4. Each a different kind so we could try them out. Went back the following day an bought more on our way home from town. They're the real deal!If you live in Pahrump or are passing through give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. They're in the building behind Red Apple Fireworks
Eat there often and enjoy the diverse menu, a wide choice of Mexican and American food. The servers are always pleasant and quick. Going there for dinner tonight!

On a recent day trip to Pahrump, we stopped for a relaxing lunch at Johnnyâs. Since we had our dog with us, i asked if we could be served outside at the picnic table out front. They were MORE than accommodating. We were served great tasting, fresh Mexican food along with awesome never ending chips and salsa. Prices are more than reasonable. There is no doubt we will be back to Johnnyâs to try some other dishes including breakfast! Plain & Simple- A very enjoyable experience! Overall Rating- Very Good.

Did a winery tour and went to lunch. This place was busy for such a little town. The food was very good and plentiful. The atmosphere lacked everything. Did not get that Mexico feel, just a big open seating area as in a cafeteria. The service was terrible, but it was not all the waitress's fault. The staffing seemed to be low for a Saturday lunch crowd. When we came in there were tables empty, but had NOT been bused. WE and others had to wait for someone to eventually clean the table. We sat in a booth about 3 rows from the main entrance. teh problem was that the waitress we had also handled all the take out orders behind the counter. We got served way later than people who came behind us and sat at other waitress areas. Another finally bought us our food. Any refills were only when we could flag some one down. Again the food was good and plentiful, but not the service.
