This coffee bar make a very good capuccino , and have a possibility to have a seat with a view on the street and the Poncho market , this is very rare as such in Otavalo. we really had to search for it, but found it!

Me and my partner are vegetarian and she is gluten free. This resteraunt will make almost anything on their menu vegetarian for you and best of all (unlike the other Mexican place in the square) they use actual corn tortillas. The owner was so kind and helpful and always had some good drinks deals both time we went there.

Ate at the restaurant tonight. The owner called me in saying he had the best Mexican food in Otavalo. He actually has the best Mexican food Iâve eaten in Ecuador. The service was attentive, the price was extremely reasonable, and the food was the best Iâve had since Mexico. Try the fajitas; muy bien. Wish I had found it earlier as it is in the opposite direction of the Plaza de Ponchos.

On my first two visits I thoroughly enjoyed my meals - delicious combination plates with some of the tastiest guacamole. In fact, the food was so good, I make the trip from Ibarra to Otavalo specifically to eat here. This time, I wasnât as enamored with the food. I had a combination plate (half chicken, half beef). The beef was dry and tough; the chicken was good until I bit into several small pieces of bone! The guacamole was still very good. Service was (and always has been) very friendly with English spoken. Prices are quite reasonable.

The bar "The Red Pub" is a fantastic place to spend time with friends."The Red Pub" is located more or less in the center of Otavalo and it is worth taking a walk to have a nice time at this place. Eating here a good burger is the best so the prices are local prices and not the tourist prices that many restaurants are doing! It is also a good place to spend a good night the music is nice and noisy! Good prices and service.It has cheap beers, big and cheap delicious nachos with cheese and guacamole and best of all: great music! Great Enchants 80 and 90 on the TV, and the staff is cool. The owners buy everything from local businesses that are around the place. The workers are very nice and offer a good deal. It is a good place for foreigners as residents of Otavalo who wish to have a good time with their friends or loved ones.In fact - all you can ask for in a bar!

We are facing the Plaza de los Ponchos on the second floor, perfect for admiring the handicraft market, we have a balcony to take pictures and enjoy a coffee exelentes outdoor

Balcon de Imbabura is located at the Plaza de Ponchos. From the second floor it overlooks the plaza. This small restaurant serves Mexican style food at reasonable prices. We started with the nachos con carne and had burritos that were good. The pork ribs/ chop were just pork smothered in BBQ sauce and not great. The service was good and the food was alright. I'd give Balcon de Imbabura a solid "Good". The location is perfect after a busy time shopping, but there are better restaurants a little further away from the Plaza.
