I was looking for a new place to try and my husband suggested La Herradura after driving past it. We walked in around 6:00 PM on a Wednesday night. We were greeted promptly and our server was polite and friendly.First bad sign: while they still offer 48 oz. pitchers of margaritas on the menu, it is "no longer available". (Did they lose all of their 48 oz pitchers?) I'm a firm believer that if you have something on the menu, you'd better sell it. We talked through our single margarita options and feeling optimistic, decided to go big and get the 60 oz pitcher...which arrived with 80% ice. Not worth it. If the margaritas weren't watered down before they made it into our pitcher, they certainly were once the ice kicked in. The mix is just too syrupy-sweet for my taste. The next item of concern was the salsa: bland, bland, bland. Bland as in no salt or seasoning. It tasted like plain tomato sauce. We were able to identify tiny bits of onion and cilantro, but not enough to provide any flavor. On to dinner..my husband ordered enchiladas, I ordered steak fajitas. My fajitas arrived looking just one chop short of the texture of ground beef -- at least, that goes for the pieces of meat you could find. Calling them steak (or even beef) was a far cry from what I received, it was mostly vegetables. (FTR, I like a nice 60/40 ratio of meat to veggies, this was probably 30/70.) As with the salsa, those poor little fajitas had no flavor...none. I requested lime wedges and extra pico de gallo to help amp up the flavor of my plate full of sautéed veggies then introduced it to a few shakes of salt. Just. Not. Good. In fairness, I saw another table get orders of chicken fajitas which appeared to arrive sizzling and looking more meaty than my sad little "steak" fajita plate. I asked my husband about his enchiladas and his one-word description was again, "bland". We abandoned 80% of our margarita pitcher and vegetable/"steak" fajitas and decided to continue our search for a good Mexican restaurant in the area.

We don't like to give reviews like this, but........Wife went in with our daughter and our son in law, along with our 2 granddaughters. Busy night, but not bad. Waiter took drink order, returned with them and said " you'll have to be patient tonight." Not "please understand", or "sorry we're really busy". Twenty minutes later he took a food order. 25 minutes later the food was delivered by a kitchen expediter. The waiter never returned, except to bring a check. He then proceeded to say "I'm sorry, I'm just a piece of s**t. We're understaffed tonight". Not quite the way you want to hear that from a server or any other employee for that matter. They have folded 3 other locations, likely for these very reasons. AND, the food this night was MEDIOCRE at the VERY best. Close this one , too, and do us all a major favor!

Ordered Taco Dinner, Fajitas with Chicken & Beef, Vegetarian Fajitas, and Grilled Vegetables for 4 people. After the completion of the meal all parties stated it was one of worst Mexican meals they have consumed and would never come back. Unbelievable that even the Tacos were no good, strange seasoning. All the remaining meals were very bland. The meat in the Fajitas was dry and tough. All the cooked vegetables were over cooked.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Mexican food is my jam, and I was unfamiliar with this restaurant chain that is not available in my home region. I was very pleased with the atmosphere, service, prices, and quality of food at this restaurant. I would definitely recommend it if you like Mexican food.

We believe that Mexican cuisine is amazing and that is why we opened Burrito King. Carefully crafted, yet bold flavored. Rooted in tradition, yet adventuring into contemporary tastes. Our home-style kitchen is true in authenticity to Mexican culture. The
I am officially taking Burrito King off my lunch list. Everyone that came AFTER us got served BEFORE us. That leaves me sour. We didn't even order anything complicated... Just 4 corn tacos. It should have been a quick lunch. (Not to mention my carrots tacos were too salty)Motored through the entire basket of chips while waiting 40 minutes for those dang tacos.Such a waste.
