Nothing is remarkable from the bland salsa and non descript chips to the unseasoned rice and spoonful of refried beans with minimal cheese. Fajitas had no flavor. Portions minimal. Restaurant is clean, food quickly prepared and server is friendly but this Tex Mex is bland
I had lunch here, carnitas. The chunks of pork were quite good, along with the rice, beans, and the salad. I didn't think the pork was over or underdone either. The rice was flavorful and the beans were good too. You get about six large chunks of pork. The salad had large slices of tomato and avocado, instead of guacamole. The salsa was chunky and mild and I think the chips are made on site. The bathroom was clean, as was the inside of the restaurant. Staff was friendly too. I would make a return visit.
Okay. At the risk of sounding xenophobic, no one appeared to speak English in the restaurant. I had some questions about the menu that went unanswered. My husband and I got tacos, cokes, fairly unappetizing chips, a thimbleful of salsa for about $24. This was no treat. I could have gotten better food and service at Maria's Mexican Kitchen. I won't make this mistake again. The best thing about the experience was the coke machine that allowed you to make your own coke, but Wendys has one too.
Pick up a small menu inside the door if you are new to Chipotle's. First order a Burrito, a salad, a burrito bowl, or tacos. Then choose the meat or tofu. Then add sides to your dish. I added brown rice and corn to the steak and then added additional items. You can pick from what you see. We also got a side of chips and salsa for under two dollars. They do have a kids menu. They also have a Patron and a Sauza Margarita listed. The menu did say to inform your server if anyone in your party has a food allergy. The receipt had Unburritrable on it, which I thought was clever.

Chapala has only been open a few months. On the first visit, I wasn't to impressed, however I went back last week and they seem to have perfected their menu. The earlier visit, it seemed you didn't get much to eat at all, but now plates seemed to have generous sides to accompany the entree. I had a plump chimichanga full of chicken and tasty beans & rice that were moist, not dried. Chips and tasty salsa were offered when you arrive. I'll go back!
This restaurant is one of my favorites in the area. Excellent food, great service. The shrimp chimichanga fajita is what I usually order & I highly recommend it!

Nothing about this place is particularly oustanding but everything I've had here has been good. They're a local chain with several locations. Dependable solid Mexican food. The service is generally quite fast, though, so that's nice. I don't say any of the above to downplay the food but it's not going to rank up there with higher end Mexican places.

Our to go order was wrong however the tacos were really good. The flavors were not out of this world but was good enough we would come back. I tried every sauce and found only three for me. We will be back to try more food.

Came for Saturday lunch and the restaurant wasn't busy at all.Service was fast and friendly. The portions were generous but the rice was just average. Normally I expect to receive beans as well but not all dishes included them. The guacamole dip was very good. The chips were a bit institutional and not very tasty. The salso was basically tomato juice, no veggies and no flavor.

Let's start with the chips....light as air and perfectly salted. Delicious jalapeno ranch and salsa available for dipping. No pitchers for margaritas, but the jumbo is good and not that much bigger than the regular. The fried chicken, (per my husband who is a fried chicken aficionado) is excellent and the nachos with ground beef are wonderful! Individual nachos, not a pile that you end up with only chips. Reasonably priced and while usually busy, the line moves well.
