El Tapatio is remarkably consistent when it comes to putting together an order to-go. Not once out of oh, a dozen orders, have they gotten it correct. And these are simple orders! Nothing byzantine or confusing about them. Simple orders. And they're never in the favor of the recipient. They forget items; they will give two rice boxes and zero beans; they forget the chips; the sauce......very annoying. How is the food? It's all right. Can be fairly decent, but nothing to rave about.
Work has prevented me from visiting here for a while but it was like seeing an old friend. The same owners and the same great (and authentic) food. Reasonably priced. Nothing fancy but you won't walk away hungry. We always stop for lunch and it is usually 1/4 to 1/3 full. Have never gone there for dinner so I'm not sure how busy they are or how late they stay open. But they are always great for lunch.

We have eaten here several times over the years although I don't believe I have previously reviewed them. Most times I would give them a strong three stars to a mid four stars. I remember having an evening dinner shortly before Christmas here in December 2016 with my in-laws and would have given them a four. Then we had a nice quiet evening with descent food and a pretty good waitress as far as service. For that visit I remember I would not have given a perfect rating because I am unable to say that their food ever deserves perfect ratings but more importantly the waitress pushed us to use the table top machine to pay. We tried to tell her we didn't want to do that but she was pushy. Now, let me get back to our recent visit in December 2017. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday soon after they opened so they were not too busy. I asked for a booth near a window if possible and without kids sitting behind either of us; you know about the kicking banging and standing up that can happen. After a few minutes our waitress cam over and took our drink order. A few minutes later she returned and took our meal order. We waited and waited and waited. She kept coming by saying she was sorry, the kitchen was having issues. We had noticed about half way through our wait that someone came in (a man about mid 30s) and proceeded directly to the kitchen. I can understand unexpected things can happen like employees running late or call offs. But we waited more. Finally our food came and the first thing I noticed was my dish was covered with cilantro which was what I specifically told them I did not want. I immediately said something to the waitress who confirmed she had told them no cilantro. We had somewhere to be so I was unable to have it corrected or reorder something else so I picked off my husband's plate and they did not charge me for it. But it did not end there. While we are now trying to share a meal that had pasta the same hostess that seated us brought a man, woman and three girls between the ages of perhaps 3 and 6 and sat them directly behind, guess who? Not even my husband but me! All I could do was sit in shock. Our waitress came by and we immediately asked for a check and just left the money on the table. We did not punish her regarding a tip.The last thing I want to say is that I do not believe we have ever experienced a restroom anywhere in our lives that smelled as bad as the men's restroom at this restaurant last month. The smell oozed out into that side of the restaurant. It was awful and they really need to figure something out with ventilation and need employees to constantly check and learn how to mop the bathroom floor.

Los Amigos is a fairly large Mexican restaurant with typical decor and furnishings. There are daily specials and a full bar. The menu is large and everything we had was excellent. After a frozen margarita and complimentary chips we had some combination dishes which were well seasoned and perfectly prepared. Our dinners were about $12. There is lots of parking and the eatery is handicapped accessible. We also saw some kids in the place and they were having a great time.

These guys have some of the most interesting and delicious tacos you will find anywhere. Try the Shrimp Tacos, so far these are my favorite. ALso check ou tthe outdoor igloos. Have a beer and tacos outdoors in the wintertime inside of a clear igloo.

We came for dinner and were pleasantly surprised at the very good food and excellent wait staff. I ordered the ribeye and my wife ordered the chicken ocho. Both were very good. Our waitress was very attentive and made suggestions on selections. If you want ambience, this is not the place for you. If your hungry and want a good meal with quick and polite service, then I recommend Skeetown!

I spent Fatherâs Day at El Burrito and was happy with the experience. We arrived around 5PM and the restraunt had not gotten real busy yet. The chips and salsa were very good. We ordered our food and got it in a very reasonable amount of time. I ordered Carnitas which had good flavor in a generous portion. I would have liked the meat a bit more seasoned since the menu describes it as seasoned. The other 3 people I was with all ordered different dishes, 2 of them ordered meals with shrimp. Both were very happy with what they ordered. We had a child who ordered quesadilla with fries, he was very happy too. The quesadilla had a very generous amount of cheese for a childâs meal. The only slight criticism about our visit was the time it took to take our drink and food orders. By the time we got our food the restaurant was busy, but while ordering drinks and food it really wasnât but it took a bit to get someone to take our drink and food order. I still would not hesitate to go back and look forward to it.
