Simply the BEST margaritas around.... they pair perfectly with some amazing dishes that leave you saying "WOW"! We had Pozole, Tortilla Soup, Al Mojo De Ajo and a Super Fiesta Carnita Burrito "wet" (with sauce).....and lets not forget about the chips and bean dip with a salsa bar......gah! It's all so good!! This is a place you will come back to for more!

We enjoyed lunch at Rio Blanco in Auburn. We were in a bit of hurry -- and ordered the super nachos. Got there within 5 minutes. Chips and dips were outstanding and the nachos were very good. We will have to return when we have more time and enjoy their extensive menu! Give Rio Blanco a try -- you will like it!
So happy to see another Taco Time near the southern end of FedWay.Completely addicted to grabbing some T.T. each time I'm in the PacNW. The beef soft taco, crisp beef taco and mexi-fries are excellent...cooked to order with some sour cream on the side. The new restaurant is beautiful and very clean.

We've all been there...some typical mexican restaurant in a non descript strip mall across from the Costco. Like, there aren't a million of those places around the northwest already? But Puerto Vallarta in Federal Way is worth a visit despite it's surroundings. The food here was surprisingly good. I got the Tacos al Pastor based on the waiter's recommendation and the only small disappointment I had was that they were not accompanied by sour cream and/or guacamole. C'mon, when you're already paying $17 a plate, throw on some guac. Regardless, the food was very good and our waiter was top notch. This is a mexican restaurant worth visiting.
I stopped here twice on my recent trip to Tacoma. I had the tacos (fish and lengua) and chili rellenos. The food itself was delicious and worth a 4 star rating. I found the salsa bar to be rather disappointing, I would have liked some spicy options. The ambiance of the restaurant could use a little sprucing up. The prices are reasonable, I will be sure to give them another shot on my next trip.

Recently went on a Friday night for happy hour before seeing a concert at the Tacoma Dome. Definitely get there early because they get busy real fast, especially on the weekends. Happy hour menu has good variety of food but no drink specials. I had the blood orange margarita, very tasty and made strong. Nachos, black bean queso, guacamole, street tacos and the jalapeño poppers were amazing!
In the back of the local Shell station is a small Mexican restaurant with international soccer on the telly 24/7. Their menu is on the wall and their food is out of this world. On my first visit I ordered carne asada and carnitas plates, both were pretty good standard fare.. THEN I saw the piece de resistance - rave reviews and description of my order for next time - bacon wrapped burrito. I went back the next week to order and it was beyond my expectations. I ate it for lunch and dinner for two days. 1 it was generous portion, 2 it was worth the $11 price and 3 it was still good the second day. Rice, beans, meat, sauce/seasonings, avocado, cheese, in a just right tortilla wrapped in bacon and skillet cooked so it is warm and toasty on the inside and just a bit crispy on the outside. It's our go-to meal after yard work or reorganizing the storage unit. Not open Sundays but open late week nights.
It is fast food, but they use all fresh ingredients and it's prepared fresh when you order it - never ahead of time.
Went after the busy lunch and caught their Happy Hour menu. Food was very reasonable and good. Authentic Mexican street tacos is what I ordered - they came with 3 heaps of meat taco filing on 6 mini tacos shells - Effectively made 6 tacos. My wife ordered the mini Chimicangas. there were 3 of these with guacamole and sour cream. Plenty of chips and very tasty - Hot salsa - Very affordable meal. the Sports Bar was close and service was great.

We were looking for a place to eat in Edgewood before doing a distillery tour (Nightshade Distillery - just south of this commercial area) and chose this place. It appears to have been here for some time and has developed a clientele. We were seated promptly and had an attentive waitress. We appreciated the chips (and the refill) with both salsa and pico de gallo. We ordered 2 taco salads - unusual in that they didn't come in a crisp tortilla bowl, but had the meat on the bottom of the plate, heated, and covered with the lettuce, peppers, sour cream and guacamole. Delicious! I poured salsa on mine.My wife had a burrito - huge and very good. When in the area again, we'll be back. Prices are moderate.
