Order a few meals to go! They were prepared unprofessional, sauce all over the plate, meal wasn't presentable, all pieces apart! Flavor was poor! Looked like leftovers served on a to go plate!

This was perhaps our 3rd time at this restaurant.. We were staying at a hotel just next door so it is easy to just walk over. The staff was very helpful as we don't eat spicy foods. I had fried ice cream (which I've always ordered here) as dessert. Really enjoyed our time. It's not fancy but quick service & helpful staff, especially if you're like us & like Mexican but just don't eat spicy things. We will definitely go back when in the area.
We have been to many Mexican restaurants claiming to be authentic, but today visited El Rey while in Augusta for our daughter's graduation. WOW! Couldn't have been better! Hands down the best Mexican food we've ever had!! I ordered the fajitas el rey...enough for two people! Coffee was spot on too. Clean, good service...We highly recommend!

I hadnât stopped here for a while. I was sad. The food is not as good as it once was. Menu us confusing. Options were more limited. Sushi was ok. Asparagus is still excellent. That was all.
Worth stopping at. Great service and good food, the whole family enjoyed their meal. The fresh salsa bar is a nice touch with a good variety of salsas and vegetables. The daily special with lamb was a nice change of pace and the burritos are some of the largest I have seen in the area. Worth the trip.

My husband and I eat here often. It is so darn good. I always get a steak burrito. My husband always gets a steak bowl with the chips on the sides. We have always enjoyed Diablos, we started eating here they first opened. There are some days where some of the meat might be a little dried out, or the food server gets stingy with the meat, but overall it's a great experience. Highly recommend this local eat.

Went for dinner on a night when the kitchen was overwhelmed with a full restaurant of customers. The staff handled it well and we had drinks and plenty of chips while we waited for our food order. I enjoyed the Nachos Alazan which was a glorified Taco Salad with the lettuce and toppings over a bed of beef and chicken nachos...very good for $8.95. One of the others in the party had the "create Your Own Combo" for $8.45 which included 2 different selections. You will not go away hungry.

My wife and I ate here one time a few months ago, and we were NOT impressed. First of all, the food was good (the food was not the problem) and the prices were ok as well. The service is what was so bad and why we will not be back. The waiter we had did not seem to care about what he was doing and was very slow. Other servers were the same way. There are numerous other mexican places in the area that are GREAT so we will continue to go to those instead. We enjoy TEX-MEX food and we eat at various places around the area. This could be a good place if your servers improve.

Wow. This little joint blew us away! To start, the atmosphere is authentically Mexican, bright colours etc. Our server was delightful. Extremely polite and helpful. Then the food. Omg the food. To start with, the complimentary chips and salsa (3 different kinds of salsa) were honestly the best Iâve ever had at a joint like this I think, and Iâm very very picky about my salsa. Chips were still warm! Then the mains. Omg. We had fajitas and tacos and rice and beans. I love Spanish food and this had to be among the best Iâve ever had. Sadly weâre not from here or weâd probably be eating here every week!
