First time at Mariachi's. Very good Mexican food! What the restaurant is missing in ambience, it definitely make up in flavor! I don't remember the names of the dishes, that my hubby and I ordered, but both were very tasty. Portions are large enough that we will get a second meal out of it. Oh and very good margaritas too!

Super friendly staff! Large menu and great food, more food than I could eat. Older building but very clean. I recommend. The only challenge was the salsa wasn't my favorite type, it was runny not chunky, but was good. The energy and friendliness of our waiter pushed the score to a 5 star.

My husband and I eat at Taco John's frequently, and have for many, many years. The salsa is great, and you can help yourself to endless amounts. The potato oles are always hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. The food is predictable in a good way. Try the apple grande for a sweet, cheesy treat with a snap to it. Chicken and beef softshells are my go-to. Husband is crazy for the meat and potato burrito. Occasionally, we try a new promotional item. Taco Johns has varying success rolling out new items. For instance, fish Taco had the potential to be killer, but the execution was iffy. New Santa Fe items with lime and cilantro rice and black beans look interesting.
